Souvenir pillow cover from Lake Placid N.Y. It is a pretty, silky pillow cover with a fringed edging. It has a wonderful array of beautiful pictures of places in the area. A wonderful way to save the memories.  This pair of lovely vintage embroidered cotton pillowcases has the words I Believe in white-on-white padded satin stitch, surrounded by delicate pink curly scrolls and little blue flowers. They are 21 inches wide by 28-1/2" long, standard size. A lacy white cotton crocheted picot shell edging is applied to the scalloped openings. No holes, tears, or stains but there are a couple of pale, small soil marks from storage that will launder right out. So much prettier than the pictures show - it was hard to get a decent photo of the white-on-white stitching.  Pair of vintage embroidered lady pillowcases. Very feminine; they might be queen size, not sure; 29 long x 21 wide. No holes or spots. Crocheted lace edge. They don't looke like they were ever used; I did not launder them. A lovely black velveteen cover marked Alt. Heidelberg du Feine. It is in wonderful condition with a beautiful scene in great color. It is 17 inches high and 19 1/2 inches wide. Just lovely.  Mother pillow cover. A souvenir for a soldier marked Barrage Balloon Training Center, Camp Tyson, Tenn. It is in wonderful condition with a fringed edge made of a satin fabric with a nice verse and great pictures. Just as found.  Fort Polk, Louisiana Pillow Cover marked U.S.A. with blue fringe edging. It is a lovely, satiny souvenir pillow cover with the U.S. emblem, pretty roses and a wonderful sweetheart verse. It is in wonderful condition and is 20 inches high and 19 inches wide. These are getting so hard to find.

This soft cotton blend pillow case is in excellent condition with a lovely edge of hand embroidered blue and yellow daisies. It measures 32 inches long by 20 inches high. There is no tag to tell me cotton content on this textile.  This pair of standard size 100 percent Muslin pillowcases are hand embroidered with pink and blue dogwood blossoms. They measure 29 inches long and 19 1/2 inches tall. The embroidery work is very well done and the colors are still vivid.  Vintage pillow covers. I believe these are silk covers from Italy. They came from an estate and everything in the house was from Italy. The 2nd picture shows the actual coloring better; the lst picture came out too yellowish. Same pattern on both; colors in the flowers are slightly different; one is rose/burgandy, other has burgandy/coral color. Backside on one is green; other is gold. They are very classy and elegant and in nice usable condition; they just need filling and zippers. One has a little dark spot on the backside center which would not show since it is not on the display side, see pic #7. They are 19.5 wide x 20. Antique Pair of Drawn Thread and Lace Pillowcases. This pair of pillowcases are white and have a white lace edge and a lace pattern made from drawn thread work and a drawn thread hem. They measure 18" wide and are 29" long not counting the 1 1/4" wide lace trim and are pure white. There are also 4 tabs, 2 that have a button hole. I believe that this was so that they could be used like a pillowsham. There are no buttons however. I have hand washed, air dried and pressed them so they are ready for use. Fabric is a very nice quality cotton and the workmanship and condition is excellent.  Pair of Fine Linen Mongrammed Pillowcases. A fine pair of monogrammed pillowcases with drawn thread work and lace trim that are white and the fabric is linen. They also have 4 tabs so that they could be buttoned to be used like pillowshams, but the buttons are not there. They measure 17 3/4 by 29 1/2 inches. The monogram is KP I believe. Condition is excellent with no faults. While my photos may make the pillowcases look splotchy, they are nice and white. They have been gently soaked, air dried and pressed and are ready for use.  Pair of Embroidered Linen Pillowcase Envelopes. These are made from a heavy linen and have embroidery on the front of the envelope with a very nice crochet lace trim that measures 3 1/8" wide. They measure 26 1/2" by 18". Condition is excellent with one small stain on the back of one which is pictured and I see one broken thread on the crochet lace, otherwise they are all good. While my photos may make the pillowcases look splotchy, they are nice and white. They have been gently soaked, air dried and pressed and are ready for use. Ready to use.  I do not know if this is handmade or machine made. Never-the-less it is a pretty white linnen pillwcase with blue buttonhole and satin stitch in a cutwork design. Would look great on your vintage victorian bed. There is one small hole---see photo.

They measure 31 inches long.  This adorable twinsize pillowsham is in excellent condition with a bright aqua blue color. It sports all your favorite Looney Tunes characters including my favorite, TAZ. I don't see any tags, but I am betting that it is a cotton, polyester blend. Excellent, like new condition.  2 Antique Monogrammed Linen Pillow Shams With Drawnwork. Very nice quality linen pillow shams that have a monogramm and 3 rows of drawnwork. I am not sure what the monogram is, perhaps L G? In one of the pictures I show the drawnwork with a black fabric underneath so that you can see the design better. They measure 17" wide by 24 1/2" long. They would hold a pillow just a little bit smaller than that. There are 3 sets of buttonholes in the back for the closure but no buttons. Just a set of buttonholes going one way and then on the other side, the buttonholes go the opposite way. Condition is excellent with no stains, holes or worn areas. I have soaked, air dried and pressed the towel so it is ready to use or give as a gift.  Hugh Antique Embroidered Layover Sham. A beautiful, large embroidered layover sham. It has nice embroidery around the edges and in the center is a nice figural scene. It measures 29 1/2" x 32 1/2" and is in excellent condition with the only fault being a tiny tear at the very edge about 1/4" long. Barely shows and could easily be repaired. Made from linen. I have soaked, air dried and pressed it so that it is ready for use.  LOVELY SATIN MOTHER'S VERSE SOUVENIR PILLOW COVER MARKED FORT DIX NEW JERSEY. IT IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION WITH THE GREEN AND GOLD TRIM AND GOLD FRINGE. JUST SLIP A PILLOW IN THE BACK OR HANG ON THE WALL FOR DISPLAY. MANY SOLDIERS SENT THESE HOME FOR MOM WHILE IN THE SERVICE AT FORT DIX. THERE IS ALSO A PLACE ON THE BACK TO RECORD IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MEMORIES. IT IS 18 1/2 BY 19 1/2 INCHES.
