ANTIQUE FRENCH LACE BEDSPREAD TAMBOUR WORK ON NETTING LOVELY!Not often are we fortunate to have such a gorgeous example of an antique French lace bedspread! This was given as a wedding present from France in the first quarter of the last century. This is a bedspread that is made of absolutely beautiful netted lace with lovely tambour like work embroidery with needle work inserts in silk threads! The design is most elegant with flowing flowers ,the edge having a lovely fine sweeping scallop design, making ideal to use as a spectacular bedspread or even a tablecloth if so desired. You could even hang it for a magnificent wall hanging. This confection of lace is a creamy ivory light beige and measures approx 114 by 94 inches, in wonderful condition,in all honesty we could not find any damage, just fabulous condition. If you love the unique or lace you will be delighted with this spectacular lace bedspread and will make it a family heirloom! A lovely addition to your collection of antique lace and linens.  This is a nice, well used, washed more than once, hand stitched and pieced quilt out of a Rockbridge County, Virginia estate. The quilt is small - 5'11" by 5'1". The pattern is four tulip blossoms radiating from the center of each square. The colors are a golden brow and red on a light ground. Red and white check pattern back. The only condition problem is fabric worn through at one corner. See photos. Buyer pays shipping and applicable Virginia sales tax  Lovely vintage chenille bedspread. I believe it fits on a full size bed; I have it shown on my queen bed for display and the sides don't hang low enough. It has been washed and is a very pretty mauve color. It has one tiny threadbare circle near a side bottom area, (it took me awhile to even find it, see pic #6); you can patch that easily; and the white thread that goes all along the bottom edge is missing in some spots and so that needs to be restitched, (easy to do, see pics 7-8). Otherwise, it is in great condition for its age which I'd guess is 1920's-30's. It is heavy, warm and comfy looking; perfect for a girl's room, guest room or cottage. There is a remnant of a black tag with gold stitching that reads: 'By Mary Wilkop' or 'By Mary Wilcox'; can't make out the last name. This came from a very nice estate; it was stored in a cloth bag in a closet which is why it is in such good condition for its age. 10/11rtmc  Vintage Bates Abigail Adams Pink and White Floral Cotton Bedspread in Twin Size. This is a beautiful piece! Bates Bedspreads are known for their fabulous quality, made of heavy cotton and in the USA they are a long time favorite. This bedspread has a wonderful pattern of flowers with a basket in the center, more flowers along the edges and is trimmed with a fringe edging. It is part of the Abigail Adams line and has an estimated age of the 1970's. It is a twin size, is about 76 inches by about 106 inches not including the fringe and in excellent condition. Vintage Queen Cotton Crochet Six-point Star Popcorn Motif Bedspread. This lovely bed cover is 108" long x 88" wide and it is ecru in color. It is in excellent used conditon. It is clean and ready to use. Shipping weight is 8 pounds.  Vintage Chenille Light Yellow Butterfly Bedspread Queen Size. This is a very nice piece, it has an all over butterfly pattern with long fringe and round corners. Feels like it is made of lightweight cotton, there is no tag so don't know who made it. It is 64 inches by 104 inches not including the fringe, the fringe adds another 5 inches on each side, probably a queen size but could fit a full depending on the height of your bed. It is in very good condition, no holes, has a brown spot just a little bigger around then a pencil at the top where it tucks in behind the pillow that will not show when on the bed. A nice addition to your collection or to use on your bed.  A rare find of a Mary Poppins linen bed set. Printed on both the pillow sham and the bed cover - WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS 1964. Unbelievable good condition for its age. Red, black and blue colors are bright, no physical damage of rips, holes, or stains - cotton. Antique Grandmother's Fan Pattern Quilt. It is completely had made. The condition is rough with tattered and torn pieces of fabric. It is need of restoration or perhaps it could be used as project. It measures 80" x 64".  This style of bedspread was generally called crushed velvet in the 1960s and 70s when they were popular, though I think it's more accurate to call the fabric crushed velour. It's a full or double size spread, 81 by 102 inches not including the 3 inch rayon tassel fringe on three sides. The color is a reddish rust or brick orange. There are no holes, tears, or stains but the fringe is not in the best condition - slightly tangled and frayed. The bedspread is machine washable.  Gorgeous vintage crocheted popcorn spread and pillow cover as a free gift!Heirloom quality. Twin size? It is 80 long x 62 wide not counting the 3 inch fringe that is on 3 sides. It could also be used as a throw. Very heavy and extremely tight crochet. It has been laundered and can be washed and dryed in a home dryer. No holes, tears or spots. An awesome textile for a cabin up north, beachfront cottage, guestroom! The pillow cover is really pretty; just has a couple of tiny dark spots on one end of border, it has not been laundered so those might come off; it is 14.5 wide. 2/11egest#3487  Vintage hand stitched quilt. Vintage hand stitched bow tie quilt. This is a nice old one; very compressed. It is about 63 x 79 inches. It does have a couple of faint spots and I noticed 2 small tears. Because of the age of this item I do not want to wash it for fear of damaging it. You could dryelle it, or take to a pro, or soak in Ivory soap flakes and line dry. It is not bad at all but probably should be gently laundered by hand. 1/11  Very cute small quilt. Looks machine made; not old but not new, estate sale item. I believe the homeowner made this, she had a sewing room with tons of quilt and sewing items. It is 39 x 39 inches. Great to nestle under a small x-mas tree as a tree skirt for those new country style trees that are so popular, or angled across a wood table, or to use in a doll chair or buggy! 1/11s#  From my personal collection, estate find about 20+ yrs ago, unsure of age, great condition, square shape, black silk, multicolor flower design, hand crocheted knotted fringe edge, I have worn it over my shoulders in a formal setting and displayed with it in my home. Measures about 44" square with a 8+ inch ornate fringe. VERY nice. Age unknown. Appears art deco style but could be newer. No rips, damage, pulls, repairs, stains. SUPERB!  This old wool quilt measures 64 x 70 inches. It is a true work of art. Made by hand, each 4 inch patch was placed just so, then hand tied and beautifully highlighted with intricate embroidery. This quilt was not randomly pieced together in a common nine-patch pattern. Within this work of art can be found a lifetime's worth of crossroads and the strength required on that journey. The lush floral backing and thick inner batting make for a full and weighty quilt and other than a few small nips here any there, the condition is wonderful; especially when you consider it lay undisturbed inside an old trunk in the attic of a Lancaster County farmhouse for who knows how long. Fortunately someone who saw its beauty found this work of art and after showing it off to some friends, brought it to me. You may find a brighter, or bolder, or fancier quilt than this, but you will go a long way before you’ll find a finer quilt than this.

American Flag bunting from the 40s. w3" wide 550" long! LAST LEFT I Discovered a small village on the Eastern Shore Of Md. The shopkeeper passed about 1955. The family closed the doors with all the contents when the owner died. The building was re-opened in 1995 for auction and the contents sold as is. It was one of my first really great auctions, this item has NEVER been outside of our smoke free home, and kept out of sunlight. Flag 550 inches that's more than 45 feet long and 36 inches wide for its age it is in wonderful condition. Appears to be the whole bolt. I had two smaller pieces that sold quickly. Made in our custom quilt shop here in Ohio U.S.A.! This quilt is mostly earth tone colors with wonderful fall leaf edge to edge stitching in colorful verigated thread. Borders have appliqued oak leaves and acorns. Batting is 80% cotton, 20% poly. It is made using quality fabric and thread so it will withstand many years of use. Machine washable in gentle cycle, line dried, or delicate machine dryer cycle. The back has the same stitching as the front, the fabric is also pieced, and are similar colors and prints to the front side, as seen in the last picture shown. The last picture shows the front and back, the back is lower in the picture.   Vintage 104" x 92" Quilt of joined padded quilted hexagon pieces. The design creates an even larger hexagon medallions patterns amongst the white back ground. One one side design pieces are all checked cotton fabric and the opposite side is of tiny flowers on blue and red background. The quilt is hand made on a home sewing machine with zig zag stitches to hold the piece together. The condition is good but the joining seams need to be re-stitched in many places. The side with the tiny flowers has some fading in in the center medallions. The checkered side does not show any fading. There are a few small stains. Plus it looks as it it could use an overall cleaning. I had not laundered it for fear of more of the hexagons coming apart. I have two of these unused early to mid 1960s Grant Crest twin size bedspreads with white piping trim and ruffles, perfect for a little girl's bedroom or your guest room. They have a pretty all-over flowers print in shades of pink and blue textured cotton seersucker plisse. They have never been used and I still have the plastic bag packaging they came in, though the plastic is shredded and tattered. One bag has the printed paper liner, shown in the third picture. The bedspreads measure 82 by 109 inches. One probably had a torn or opened package at the time of purchase as a WT Grant price tag is stapled directly to the bedspread and it has a small, faint yellow age spot near the tag which I am certain will come out when laundered. Otherwise both bedspreads are mint. They are an estate purchase and have been stored away unused in a closet for 45 to 50 years - you will want to have them cleaned or laundered before using. Price is per bedspread.  Vintage hand hooked oval mat, Showing wonderful winter scene, Measuring approximately 19 x 12 3/4 inches.  Unfinished crazy quilt featuring mostly dark colored velvet scraps and bright stitching. Double ring grandmother's garden hexagon

This item is a Vintage Hand Stitched Wedding Ring Quilt. It is completely hand stitched and all cotton fabric. This Quilt is crisp and bright. It is backed with a soft tellow cotton fabric and measures 75 inches by 64 inches. This would fit a double or full size bed. This Quilt has six rows of interlocking Wedding Rings with seven interlocking Wedding Rings in each row. There are three small stains on the back side. The front side with all the Wedding Rings is in excellent condition without any stains. This Quilt was most likely made during the 1930's to 1940's.  Absolutely GORGEOUS Green Satin Fabric with an Embroidered PEACOCK and flowers done in an Asian, or Oriental Motif. Would make a fabulous coverlet, or tablecloth. The pair of peacock birds are in the center of the spread, as their lovely circled feathers hang down. Then in each of the corners are embroidered a smaller branch of flowers, with two different color pallettes. Is machine embroidered stitching. Measurements: length-73 inches, width-61 inches ~ which is just shy of a queen sheet size. Condition: NEAR EXCELLENT. Doesn't appear to have been used, but does have some minor storage soiling. The delicate linen runner measures 18 x 44 and has a wonderful pink & white variegated crochet edging. There is also an incredible blue floral border as well as intricate floral designs at either end. Don't miss out on this one. It's a beauty.  Known for her colorful nature designs, Claire Murray creates lovely throw blankets and rugs reflecting her quaint Nantucket Island background. "Cat Fancy" is a beautiful woven throw blanket measuring 53" x 66", 100% cotton - easy care hand-wash cold, flat dry and made in the USA. The blanket features a dark background, white picket fence with five (5) white cats enjoying the garden! The pattern I used is a wonderful Bubbles edge to edge - I used a bright primary colors verigated thread. All fabrics used are 100% cotton, quilt shop quality. Batting is Hobb's Heirloom, 80% cotton, 20% poly blend. Stitching is 12 stitches per inch, top quality thread. A beautiful, quality made quilt. Made in Caldwell Ohio, you will not find this one in any store! It is made to be used, and to last many years, and to be machined washed on a delicate cycle if you have one is best. This quilt will brighten any room!

Vintage cowboy bedspread. This spread features cowboy robbers surrounding a stagecoach. Colors are nice and vivid. No holes and it has been washed and ironed. I did not notice any spots. It is 92 long x 86 wide; made for a twin bed. Very lightweight cotton, (for summer use or display). 7/09intest-ck  This lovely little 3-foot by 3-foot quilt would make a perfect wall hanging or a warm comforter for baby. The heavy pinstriped backing and thick padding will keep little ones warm on the coldest nights. Or hang it on the wall and see how many compliments you receive on your decorating skills. The dark green background hi-lights the four different Amish inspired quilted patterns that really are the heart of this quilt's appeal.  This wonderful vintage quilt measures 66" by 76" and has 30 flower blocks, the petals made from 1920s - 1930s cotton feedsack prints and hand appliqued onto solid yellow cotton fabric. The blocks are entirely hand pieced and quilted. They appear to have been joined by machine, everything else except one seam attaching the backing to the quilt top is sewn by hand. The backing is solid green cotton, in a shade most similar to Depression green or Jadeite, if you're familiar with that term. The quilt batting is very thin cotton. The condition is very good for a "working" quilt, meaning one that was used, not stashed away in a trunk for decades. There are two easily repairable L-shape tears on the back side, the largest 1/4" by 1/2" long and shown in closeup. One of the backing edge seams has some loose stitches and thin fraying along the seam line. One of the outside blocks has some surface soiling that looks fresh, I believe it happened while transporting to or from the Wyoming farm auction where I purchased it. There are a very few other small, random fading spots that can be seen on close examination but nothing on the back. There is some color variation to some of the yellow background squares.  BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE BEDSPREAD, LOVE THE WESTERN STYLE DECORATION, as per images, MEASURES ABOUT 100 X 72 inches.

This unused handcrafted full/queen quilt and shams set is by VALERIE. The quilt which measures 90" x 90" features six embroidered floral bouquets; each motif is enclosed by an entwined sage green vine, leaves and garlands of small burgundy flowers. The center floral pattern displays sage, burgundy, slate blue and pink. The background is ecru and the edges feature a scalloped burgundy border. The matching pillow shams are standard sized 20" x 26" and feature the same floral pattern on an ecru background with a burgundy scalloped border. Does have some larger but light stains which I think will come out in the washer.  Lovely hand made quilt for an infant or toddler. It has 12 embroidered blocks with a blue trim. Each block has a different fun picture, animals, children, clowns. The white blocks appear to have some pink to them, could have been a bleed of another fabric or it was meant to be either for a boy or girl. Measures 42" by 32". It is not "quilted" just tied all over.
