Fantastic German hand carved wooden bear match holder and ash tray. 4 3/4" high x 5 1/2' wide. Bear is sitting on a rock with his back feet out in front of him, his right paw up ready to take a swipe and his mouth is open with teeth bared and he has mean black beady eyes. Makes you kind of scared to light up!  Cobalt Shiny Glaze Floral Ashtray that will accommodate 4 cigarettes. We do believe while this is an ashtray, it was never used as one. It is approximately 4.50 inches long and 3.50 inches at the widest point. It has Cobalt blue around the edges, and a pretty floral pattern, that looks like roses, forget me knots, or maybe a peonies. There is one very small flake off the underside, and some wear to the gold trim that occurs in items this old. But other then that, it is perfect, and say you don’t smoke. No problem, use it as a trinket dish, or a coin dish for that man in your life. This item is also stamped on the bottom Made in Japan.  Leather hand painted bullfighter4 drawer and 4 striker match box.  Vintage wooden humidor / pipe holder. Holds 6 pipes on its sides , center opens to hold tobacco. American Eagle decal on front. 9" long x 5 1/2" high x 5" deep.

Wonderful vintage pressed glass heart and leaf pattern humidor with silver plate embossed floral cover. 5 3/4" tall  Old (1940's) Japanese Komai Style Mixmetal Iron Gold & Silver Cigarette Case The case is 6.35 inches (16.2cm) long by 3.2 inches (8.1cm) wide. It is in good condition with no repairs, chips, or cracks, except minor surface scratches and rust, and it does not close tightly (as seen in the photos). Beautifully engineered, the lid opens when the drawer is pulled. The drawer is divided into 3 sections, 1 is lined in tin, 2nd has ashtray, striker and cradle for matches. 3rd is just the wood. Humidor has bail handles on sides. Silver colored metal decorates the top and front. Small piece of metal missing from the front bottom right side of the drawer. Please note image #2. This humidor is listed between $1500.00-$2000.00 in Great Cigar Stuff by Jerry Terranova Schiffer Publishing Co. on page 6.  This wood tobacco humidor measures 11.75 x 7.75 and is 4.25 in. tall. In very good condition.. The lining is a silver color metal, stainless steel? I believe the wood is black walnut.  This cigarette dispenser has a bird that uses its bill to lift a cigarette out when a lever is pushed. In working order. Measures 7x 4.5 and is 3.5 in. tall. A plastic base and holder and a metal bird and mechanism.

Chrome Art Deco Donkeys? Ash Tray. I am not real sure what these animals are, but they look kind of like donkeys. This in one of the "Pincherette" series and is in excellent condition. Similar to the "Birds" ash trays I have to offer.  Old Heimbach's Dutch Maid Bread Ashtray. Vintage glass advertising ashtray, 4" x 4" x 1" high, no chips or cracks, advertising for Heimbach's Dutch Maid Bread. Circa 1940's, the corner of the background of the image has some wear as shown.  Chrome ashtray with glass bottom and dog figure on cross bar. It is missing one of the cigarette rests and you are able to see through the glass bottom to the inside of the piece which is not very attractive. There is cardboard and green waxy paint. You may want to take the bottom off and refresh the inside. Green felt bottom. Measures 5.5 inches high and 5.5 inches in diameter. Chrome finish is still good and dog figure is cute!  Nice Old Gold ad from 1944 --Apple "Honey" and Freshness guaranteed---also includes statements about Buying war bonds( more than you afford) and listen to Monty Wooley and Sammy Kaye band(CBS) and Bing Crosby and orchestra (NBC)---nice ad for the tobaccianna lover

Two great Lucky Strike ads from the fifties---American Tobacco Company---note the mention of scientific tests proving that LS are the mildest of the 6 major brands tested---if we all knew then what we know how!! Plus a great old Lucky Strike cigarette tin(as is condition). The flat fifties tin is 5 5/8" by 4 3/8". Nice tobacciana collectibles.  Unique Phoenix Ceramic Ashtray. Probably 50's with mythical bird image stenciled in light mint green. In very good condition with one kiln flaw.  A triangular ashtray from the legendary Toots Shor on 51st street in Manhattan were Joe DeMaggio and Ernest Hemmingway might bump into each other and Jackie Gleason regularly visited. Manufactured by Hall China Condition: No chips or cracks -- some wear on Glaze and a bit on the logo as evident in the photos.  Hand carved man hanging over barrel which is a cigarette box. He is wearing tails and a top hat. When his coat tail is pressed the barrel opens. Early 1900's. Very good condition.

1950's Art Deco Swiveling Cigarette Server. Red plastic top turns on a chrome coated ashtrays or match holders. Very Retro, would make a great gift.  Comical 50's Nurse Holding Baby Joke Ashtray. Apparantly the new father is not touching the baby. Almost 4" square and in very good to excellent condition.  This cigarette case is styled by Schildkraut and loaded with silver and white sead beads. Appears to have hardly been used. Most important it has a matching lighter that is marked Lester - Japan. I would say this is from the 50s. Measurements for the case are 3 & 5/8" long and 2" wide. Lighter measures 1 & 3/4" wide and 1 & 1/4" tall. This is one beautiful set and you just don't run across them in this kind of condition. The set is in excellent condition with no seed beads missing. Such a pretty set to carry in your purse or an addition to any collection.  Vintage 'Cricket' disposable lighter, made in France, dates to 1960's, paint worn off and it is empty.

This has the original wood match box inside, Vulcan Safety Matches, Tidaholm Sweden, no matches. There are polo players on one side with polo sticks on the other. This has usage wear.  This match safe is tin with a horse racing image imprinted into the top of the box. It is very light pressed image which does not show in the photo. On the bottom there is the match strike area with an imprint Bryant & May Wax Vestas Made in England. Measures 2.5 inches by 1.5 Price reduced from $28  Kincraft black leather cigarette case was made in England. The leather is in very good condition with a nice gold tone interior. There is a JMW monogram. There is some lifting of the leather at the edges. Price reduced from 12.00  Early Ashtray portraying what is believed to be an Indian Chief in the center. Ashtray appears to be made of a heavy iron. Measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". There is some tarnish/residue to a small inner portion of the Ashtray as you can probably see in my photos. No markings could be found. Great for a collector of Indian items or more unusual Ashtrays. Buyer to pay shipping.

Adorable pipe holder in the figure of a small dog which I believe is supposed to be a Scottie dog. He measures 11" long, 4 1/2" Wide and 5" tall. There are 6 tiny glaze flakes on the opening where his tail would and some crazing on the bottom of the piece but otherwise this pup is in excellent condition. He is adorable and unmarked.  Rare "Playtoons" California Smoking Set Figurines. Vintage Long Beach California Pottery "Original Cartoons in Clay by Harry Hughes. The figures are named "Smokey and Grandma", Smokey is fashioned to hold a pack of cigarettes, as shown, and Grandma is an ashtray. Each figure is 4.5" tall in excellent condition, no chips or cracks with their original hang tags, each with their name and a poem. circa 1940's-1950's.  Chromolitho Metal Mississippi State Ashtray. A figural map of Mississippi with the state flower & bird embossed around the edges, This vintage metal ashtray is 3.5" x 5" in excellent condition. These hand painted 1950's ashtrays did not survive well. One use damaged the finish. Marked on the back "Japan", a slight bit of wear on the back.  Genuine vintage Meerschaum Cheroot holder with it's original case. Carved in the shape of a hare with all the detail one would expect from a vintage Meerschaum piece. The holder is in good shape with no chips or breaks, but it does not have it's amber stem. The original case is also in fine condition with the gold lettering still crisp. The price reflects the lack of a stem.

Rare souvenir of the 1939 New York World's Fair written by Roy C. Flannagan which explains how tobacco is grown, sold, rolled and packed for Lucky Strike. This is a unique history of the process that was produced for the World's Fair. Measures 5 by 7.5 inches. 94 pages. Excellent condition. Contains black and white photos along with the text. The front cover has an imprint logo of the 1939 New York World's Fair. Something a little unusual for the serious collector.  This beautiful textured cigarette case measures 3" x 3" square. The outside combines stripes & pebbled textures, accomplished by the placement of the grooves on the surface. The pattern on the silver changes depending on how the light hits it. There is a push-button closure which is in perfect working order. The inside surface is smooth and pebbled. The inside tabs which hold the cigarettes are marked "Made in U.S.A., Pat. Pend." - they are loose, I believe the spring is missing. There are no other marks on the iitem. The outside surface has some light scuffs. Shipping is an additional $5.00 within the continental U.S. International shipping is also available.  Lead crystal monogram 'S' ashtray, 4-1/4 inches sq., 2-3/8 inches tall and in excellent condition.  From the August 1920 issue of <i>The Saturday Evening Post</i> comes this great full-page color ad for Velvet Tobacco. <b><font color=red>Ain’t It So -- </b></font> tells of the fellowship of pipe-smoking and how the smoothest of America’s tobaccos can make the world better. In fact, it says you can’t frown when you’re enjoying the mellow taste! The 10.5-inch by 13-inch ad features a great drawing of three happy men, signed by M. Leon Bracker. The ad is covered with plastic and mounted on a cardboard backing. There are no apparent defects. (5644)
