This is a unique double edged hand scraper tool with a good solid hardwood handle and steel ferrule. As you can see the one edge is toothed or has serations on it, both edges are convex shaped with a mild sweep, both in very good condition. The handle is very nice, no cracks. Overall length is 6.5" and the width of the cutting edge is 2.0". I am not sure of the purpose of this tool, but it is very unique! No makers name noted on it.  This is a unique fork shaped tool, made of solid brass, mounted to a rosewood handle that has a brass ferrule. As you can see the one point is shorter than the others, overall the brass is in very good condition. The rosewood handle is very nice, no cracks, nice turning. Overall length is 5.75" and the with of the fork is .7". I am not sure of the purpose of this tool, but it is very unique! No makers name noted on it.  This lantern, light has the Winchester emblem. I believe it was a hunting light/lantern. Uses 4 D cell batteries. It can be hand held or clipped to your belt or perhaps a head piece as a miners lantern. The pat. number on it is 1996577. a neat Winchester collectors item. With a bit of cleaning, this should work.  This is a top quality 2 foot full brass angle joint folding ruler with brass level marked "LUFKIN NO. 863L Made in England". All three positioning pins are in place, joints work fine, fold good, only minor wear, good++ markings. Some pitting on the brass arch joint and some one has scratched their name into the brass (shown on picture) A very hard to find folding ruler with level for your collection!

This is a quality made mortise, marking gauge that is not marked with the Stanley name, but is a Stanley made gauge. It is 7.5" long, has a total of 3 scibe point, one is adjustable via the end brass thumb screw. The main shaft is graduated by 16ths inch, from 0-3". It made of rosewood, with brass trim. It is complete with the brass pad under the slide thumb screw to protect the rosewood from damage when the screw is tightened. This gauge is nice, clean, no cracks or major chips, some small dings, and some wear on the slide on the opposite side of the brass inlaid plate, good threads, good points. I note that it appears this gauge was used for a period of time without the brass skid plate under the thumb screw, as some screw indentations can be seen, but don't effect the movement of the slide. A good user gauge!  This one of a kind piece appears to be used for spraying liquids. Both ends screw off to allow insertion of something in the brass tube. There are a number of fine holes at the end. The handle is the original and is solid wood. The patina of the brass is lovely with normal wear and a couple of small dents near the handle end. It is approximately 24 inches long. This is a must for your collection and a real conversation piece.  This is a very nicely style belt buckle the reads "AMES TOOLS PROMONTORY SUMMIT UTAH 1869" on the face, showing fine detail of two steam locomotives, one with a shovel setting against it, and men working, using hand tools in the center. This is a limited production, quality cast pewter like metal, and is quite sturdy. The back is marked "SISKIYOU BUCKLE CO. INC. WILLIAMS OREGON C1982 SERIAL NO. 1731 1982 LIMITED EDITION" and a note "MAY 10, 1869 AMES TOOLS WERE THERE AT ONE OF THE NATIONS FINEST MOMENTS WHEN THE CONTINENT WAS BRIDGED BY RAIL. THE UNION PACIFIC'S ENGINE 119 AND THE CENTRAL PACIFIC'S JUPITER QUIETLY AWAIT AS CEREMONIOUSLY THE LAST SPIKE IS DRIVEN". Condition is very good with little or no sign of being used. A very well made 2.4 x 3.5" belt buckle!  This old blowtorch is completely empty. It is made by Turner in Sycamore Il. It measures approx 9 in to the top and approx 6.5 in wide to the outside of the handle. The handle is wooden and the paint is worn on it. There is a seahook at the top for hanging that adds another inch and a half for height.I have also been told that this hook is for holding a soldering iron. It looks like there was a plate or a paper tag on the front, but it is not there now.

This is a nice clean, 10.5" long special screwdriver, marked "STANLEY NO. 45 MADE IN U.S.A." on the handle ferrule. This one features a very solid design, strong steel bolster and red insulated washer. It's in good used condition with about 75% of the black paint intact on the hardwood handle. A very hard to find screwdriver, very well made!  This is an interesting all steel plumb & level marked "ROE'S PAT. EDEN SPECIALTY CO. OWNERS AND MAKERS BROOKLYN N.Y.". It's in good condition good glass vials in both stations, the plumb has ground lines, and the level glass has no lines. It appears that this level was made to be attached to what ever beam you may want to attach it to, and screw holes are provided for that purpose. The main plate is 3.25 x 5.37 x .5" thick. An unusual tool, the only one I've seen like it!  This tobacco cutter is hand operated, manual,. In very good condition. Measures 15.25 in. long. and is 5.5 in. tall. The embossed markings read The Brunhoff Mfg. Co. Cintl. Embossed pattern on the base. I think it may have been repainted or at least touched up as the red is very bright and the handle and top are shinier than the base. A great vintage item for a tool collector.  This is a group of (3) 3/32" (.093") size drill bits to fit an vintage Yankee style automatic push drill No. 41 41Y, 043, 46, 46Y, and some others by different makers like a Millers Falls No. 185A. These are new old stock drills, purchase from an old hardware store. They are in fine condition, most have a rust inhibitor on them (light grease like), you can see it in the pictures in some places. The three drill points included are like the three shown to the right in the picture. Now you can replace those impossible to find drills!

The shank size on these drills is .168" diameter, and there may be other tools that these drills will fit, other than the ones I've listed.

This is a nice clean 17" long, 1 1/16" open end structural wrench marked "ARMSTRONG 1 1/16-907 HARDENED". Overall it's in very good condition, with some light pitting on the area around the word hardened. For USS size bolt 5/8" according to the 1948 Catalog. Very heavy duty, weight is 2.5 pounds. A vintage wrench that helped build America!  This is a very rare type ratchet screwdriver, marked "MILLER FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 63 MILLERS FALLS TOOLS SINCE 1868" on the handle ferrule area that has the direction selector on it. It measures 8" long overall, has a redish colored handle that I believe was originally maroon. The wood handle is solid with about 60% of it's original finish worn off. The hardwood has some other wear and dings as shown in the pictures. The ferrule nickel plating is about 70% intact, and the steel screwdriver head and shaft is in good useable condition with some minor grinding or sanding done on the sides it appears. I see very few of this type ratcheting screwdriver. The selector on this one moves smoothly and holds position very well. A rare, hard to find screwdriver!  This is a quality made inch thickness gauge marked "UNION TOOL CO. ORANGE MASS.". It is 4.5" long overall closed, in good+ condition with no rust, good tight joint, has a threaded screw that can be tightened or removed to remove the precision ground thickness gages for individual use. The gages range from .001-.015 inch. A nice clean handy machinist or machanics tool!  Offered is an item that I believe somewhat resembles an Old Mining/Miners Carbide Container, however, I'm not 100% certain because I've never seen one and thus will be sold "as is". It is marked on the one side Hess Torch and the other Tin Ol. Top has a screw off cap then you have about a 3 1/4" piece that can be pulled out with what looks to be a wick at the end. The one end of the Container has a pair of swing-like hinges. I believe a belt slid through them so the Container would be on your side. From end to end the container is about 4" in length and then about 3 ½" in height to the top of the cap. If you have any info that you would care to share about this piece it would be greatly appreciated. Again it will be sold "as is". Buyer to pay shipping.

These are new old stock .2185 / 7/32" diameter, with a 1/4" wide screwdriver slot tip, for Yankee style (smaller) screwdrivers, like a No. 135 model Yankee, may fit other brand names as well. The screwdriver tip is 2.25" long overall, and has a chrome plated finish. There is no markings on these as to who made them, but the package is marked "CENTURY DRILL & TOOL CO CHICAGO ILL MADE IN U.S.A.".  This is a clean 2 foot 4 fold boxwood ruler with the quality arch joint feature. It's marked "WARRENTED BOXWOOD RABONE MADE IN ENGLAND NO. 1377". It's in good+ condition with little wear noted, 2 of the 3 brass alignment pins are in place, very little warping, even with the one pin missing, nice marking, no cracks, nice brass trimmings. A well preserved, quality made rule!  This is a nice clean 6" long rare firm-joint inside calipers with integral spring fine adjustment. I believe this is a No. 832 listed in a 1924 catalog, but not numbered on the tool itself. It is marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE U.S.A. TEMPERED". The caliper works perfectly, no damage noted, some darkening and very light pitting on about 20% of the steel. A nice machinist tool overall!  This is a very nice clean aluminum Zig-Zag folding ruler marked "RUSTLESS RULE REG. U.S. PAT OFF. N.Y.C. AP VO. W PAT 7-15-24 BUFFALO N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.". The joints and tip ends are brass, in good condition, with some wear, joints seem to hold there position fairly well, opened or closed. The aluminum sections still have very clear markings, 32nds on one is 16ths on the other, 32nds on the brass end tips. Some of the joints are not exactly in line, so when the rule is closed the sections appear to out of parallel to one another, otherwise a very nice ruler, marked by a rarely seen maker's name.

Very nice, very sharp, ready to use!  This is a nice clean bicycle wrench with the "A-2 M M MADE IN USA PAT'D NOV. 13 00 PAT'D MAR 11 02" marks on it. Although the Frank Mossberg Attleboro Mass. mark isn't on this one the A-2 brand, and the double M in diamonds, is The FRANK MOSSBERG CO. logo. This one is 5.5 long overall, and the jaws are 1/4" wide, thicker than the A-2 model . There is a few minor burrs on the jaws, not bad. The nickel plating is about 90% intact on this one, there is some minor pitting in one area mostly, on the opposite side of the company logo. Jaw adjustment and alignment works good. A nice shiny wrench, one of the nicest I've seen in this model!  This is a quality made ball bearing beveled hand held roller, creaser, marked "THE EVERHARD MFG. CO. CANTON O.". on the metal frame. It has a very nice, solid hardwood handle, with a brass ferrule. The roller wheel is 2" diameter at the largest point, down to 1.5" diameter x .5" wide. It's 8" long overall. This is a good older hard to find No. 8 Lufkin Tools Catalog. Issued by THE LUFKIN RULE CO. SAGINAW MICHIGAN U.S.A., printed in U.S.A., no date mentioned, known to be in the 1950's era. The catalog is soft bound, in good condition with some finger print smudges on pages, mostly on the first 10 or so. The binding is in good shape, note the stains on the back cover, front cover in nice shape. Nice maroon exterior. A great reference tool, with pictures and discriptions of each tool made by Lufkin in this time period. 157 pages + index.

Published in 1935 by ALCO Valve Co., St. Louis MO, this handy little tool was designed for refrigeration installation and maintenance workers to determine the corresponding pressure of Ammonia, Methyl Chloride, or Freon at any saturated temperature.

The company produced thermo valves, magnetic valves, high pressure float valves, lower pressure float switches and constant pressure expansion valves for a variety of refrigerants.

The tool is in Very Good condition with only some very minor edge wear. Something different for your collection! (4998)

We can’t read the label on this one … it may be a product of our Marshalltown Trowel Company … but the 6.75 inch long blade on it is ready to go to work on your tuck pointing projects.

It’s from a local estate and not new, by any means, but still has the same design as those produced today.

There is some wear here, but the wooden handle shows no apparent defects and the blade has some rough edges, but seems to be still useable overall. (4970)

Here’s a nice little open end wrench marked <b>Billings, Made in USA</b> on one side and <b>703 5/8</b> on the opposite side.

It measures 6.5 inches long and is in Very Good condition with only some minor scrapes and scratches.

One side of the handle has some very small indentations that appear to be from use of an awl. Still, it’s useful and from a good older manufacturer! (4966)

Lufkin No. 8 Catalog Machinist Tools $25.00

ALCO Valves Pressure Wheel $5.00

Vintage Tuck Pointing Trowel $7.50

Billings Open End Wrench $7.50

We called them 'tin snips' … but we’ve seen them as tinsmith’s shears, tin shears and other names. No matter the name, this vintage tool from a local estate will make a straight cut on many light metals. They measure 14 inches long and the blades and are forged steel.

They have a nice patina and we see no evidence of a manufacturer’s name, although the number 7 is imprinted near the bolt.

They have some bumps and bruises from use, but we don’t see any chips, repairs or other serious defects and consider these to be in Very Good condition. They could use a cleaning, and probably need sharpening.

A previous owner has engraved his name lightly on several surfaces of the handles. This tool is old, authentic and handy for use around the house. They're far better, and likely cheaper, than what you'll find in the hardware store! (4978)

From a local estate, this is a common general purpose bench plane and the workhorse of many carpenters’ toolkits, the <b>STANLEY BAILEY NO.5 SMOOTH PLANE.</b> We’re told it is a very good plane for general smoothing work and long enough to do some jointing.

It measures 14 inches long and has a 1-inch-wide cutter. The body is cast iron, with a rosewood handle and knob; the finish is Japanned.

This plane is a must have for woodworkers. It is ideal for rough surfaces where a coarse cut is desired, but also suitable for a smooth and flat surface. Many consider this plane as the first plane to use for general preparation of wood stock because its length gives stability for heavy planing.

It is marked BAILEY on front; NO 5 on back end of the plane, with further marks that indicate it is from STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. and L. BAILEY’S PATENT DECEMBER 24 1867.

So far as we can tell, this is the 5C model, preferred for work on resinous woods because of its corrugated face that makes the plane glide easier.

We’re not experts, but this plane appears to be in Very Good condition – with no defects that a good cleanup won’t solve! We see no cracks in the rosewood handle or knob and the metal surfaces appear to be without defects too. The blade is sharp and looks ready to use! This would be a great one for the collector or the user! (4971)

Stanley No. 203 Block Plane. Plane is smaller then the normal Block Plane. It measures 5 1/2" in length and has a 1 3/8" wide cutter. It was manufactured from 1912-61. As shown in the my photos, the Lever Cap on this Plane does have some wear to the patina around the top and on the sides. There is also some light pitting on the blade. Rear of the Plane is marked with the number 203. Blade and end of the Screw Cap are marked Stanley Made in U.S.A. Would make a nice addition to any Tool collection. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.

A good early patented monkey wrench!  This is a top quality 19th century carving chisel that is marked "T. CUTLER CAST STEEL". I've used this chisel since the pictures were taken, and before I used it I flat stoned the bottom surface, removing most of the light pitting near the cutting edge. It is sharp and ready to work. There is one 1/16" area that will have to be sharpened through after about 5 normal sharpenings in the future, due to a pitted area of that size. Otherwise a good chisel with a nice multi-surfaced hardwood handle (appears to be original), in good solid condition.  This is a nice old tanged carving chisel marked "J.B. ADDIS 8 PRIZE METAL 10" on the steel. It's 1/16" x 7.2" long overall with a good wood handle that has two owner's marks neatly marked on it. There is one small area of rust pitting just behind the cutting edge, it's doesn't effect the cutting edge now but will after a few sharpenings. Priced accordingly. Pexto made medium to good quality tools in this period, this is a good useable example. <br>

This is a good old alligator wrench from the early 1900's. It's made by Armstrong Bros. Tool Co. Chicago Il.. This wrench is 9" long and in good condition overall with very little wear on the jaws, and no rust.  Have tools, will travel! For those who have to travel with their specialized tools, a fine chest of drawers, made of Oak, then in cased in a steel framed trunk. This is a rare opportunity to buy a rarely seen traveling tool case. This one was made and marked on the brass label by ROGERS & MADISON TRUNK CORP. GENUINE 3 PLY DRESS AND WARDROBE TRUNKS". <br> Size of the exterior of the trunk is: 31.5W x 22.5H x 11.0D INCHES.

  Drawers interiors measure: 13.1W x 8.0D x 1-3.0 Deep INCHES.

This is a very well made trunk, very sturdy frame, made to by moved, good strong handles, latches and framing. The exterior is made of a material I am not familiar with, but I think it is an early form of fiberglass. It is not the prettiest exterior, but has held up very well with no damage to report, just discoloration and some staining. The steel frame has about 70% of it's original black paint intact, not rusty, but some paint is scratched off. The interior is all oak except for the insides of the drawers, the drawer sides and bottoms are all secondary hardwoods. The drawers are in good condition, not as heavy duty as some machinist chests, but strong enough to handle about 10 pounds in each drawer. Each drawer has a pair of pull stop pins that keep the drawer from being pulled to far out by accident. The drawer can be carefully removed by lifting up on the bottom of the drawers and pulling up and out. Some of the drawer have partitions, some have had the partitions remove, one drawer has a special holder for round items. Some of the drawer are very clean inside, others have light soiling and stains. The exterior drawer pulls are brass strips held in place by two screws. Some are slightly bend outward, not bad. There is one area inside the chest where the oak has chipped off in one small area near the center, lower drawer. It's still plenty strong in this areas, sometimes wood will crack along a the grain, this appears t have happened here. <br> Overall the chest is in good condition, is well made, very sturdy, clean, suitable for many uses! <br> Shipping will be $40 to most areas in the USA.  Vintage wood cotton handcards, beautiful aged wood. Whittmore, No. 10. Leather holds the metal combs to the boards. One of the handles is lose, but they are for show not for use. Very lovely color.
