This is a one of a kind hand-saw with a forged frame and a patent cam lock system for quick replacement of the blade. The saw frame is marked "PROPERTY OF TILDEN SAW CO. 2783". There is also a patent date on the cam level "PAT. 7.26.04". The patent marked is clear marked and the TILDEN MARKED is a bit harder to see. Overall the saw is in good working order with some grain split in the handle, but the handle is very solid and well attached (note how the handle is attached with screws on one side only, rare). The saw blade could use a sharpening, and there is some pitting on the saw frame, but this is a rarely seen cam lock system. I've not seen another.  This is a nice old 5 drawer tool chest that originally was used to hold carving chisel. When I purchased it, it had 19th century english chisels in it. The chest and drawers are solid, the exterior of the chest is pine, the draw faces and front chest styles are Oak. The drawer have simple holes drilled in them for your fingers to pull the drawer out. They slide in and out well. There's enough room to store several chisels in this chest along with other tools. Two drawers have divider, one drawer has two and the other has one divider built in. The two wood handles on the sides are solid and have holes to hang small chisel in. Chest measures 24 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches deep x 11 1/2 inches tall. This is a nice early chest that is in very nice shape for it's age!  This is a nice clean level plumb, and inclinometer marked "ACME LEVEL CO. on two brass plates on two of the three sight holes. The level is in very good shape overall with good brass hardware including brass end caps, except for the outer casing of the level tube is cast iron. All the level tubes are in good shape, each is adjustable and the center one has degree increments marked on it. The wood appears to be cherry wood and has a few dings on it, but the level looks great! This tool was displayed in a tool museum locally for many years. I purchased it when the museum was closed. Acme Level Co. began around 1909 in Toledo Ohio, later moved to Archbold, Ohio were the company closed in 1925. Very few of these 42" levels exist.  This is a very clean 28" long level marked "STANLEY RULE AND LEVEL CO. NEW BRITIAN CONN." in a circular logo. We believe it to be a No. 31 model, but the model number is not on this one. No. 31 was only made from 1859-1860, so this one has the correct logo, and discription. Very rare level! It is mahogony wood, with brass end corner tips, very little wear overall. It has a nice finish and patina. Both plumb and level sight tubes are in good working order. It features brass hardware including 4 end caps. A very attractive plumb/level. Very nice 140+ year old plumb level!

This is a nice antique 2 x 8" sharpening stone in a larger hardwood case that surrounds it. You can flip the stone for medium and fine grit, your choice, as this stone is feature the 1/2 light brown color fine grit on one side and the darker gray/brown medium/course grit stone on the other side. Considering that this is an antique, used sharpening stone is still pretty flat, good for honing chisels and other edge tools. We note a few small edge chips, none effect use of the stone, most are small and on the fine grit side, the side shown in the first picture. The wood case measures 10" long and has a few minor cracks in it, but is made of solid stock and remain in solid condition. The wood show it's age, and has some oil staining and wear, but holds the stone well. A nice antique stone overall!  This is a nice pair of scissors with what appear to be a nice Chinese or Japanese mark or one side and logo on the other. The cutting edges are sharp and the overall condition is very good. Very unique!  This is a very interesting group of very mini tool in a plastic case. The really work! Each on can also be stung as a necklace or other piece of jewelry. The appear to be die cast brass. The case and all the tools are in very good condition. I've never seen another set like it!  This is a nice clean old 1800's screwdriver, designed for turning large machined screws into hardwood. It's 14" long overall x .37" wide tip, very sturdy, has a good solid handle with a brass ferrule for added strenghth, no cracks. Some modifactions have been made to the tip over the years, but is still close to the original size. The ended of the handle has been tapped on just a bit, a slight dent can be seen in the last picture. Overall a very nice old carpenters' tool!

Offering this hard to find 1/2" countersink marked "H & R. BOKER CAST STEEL". The cutter edge shows some wear, but still cut wood just fine. Boker is well known for a wide line of top quality tools! Size is 3.25 long overall x .50 wide diameter at the wide point.  Offering this hard to find end nipper, that was designed to cut heavy wire. It has a spring loaded handle, removeable, reverseable, tempered cutters, and a forged steel frame. There is a name stamp on the frame, but all I can read is "H.. ..ton Mfg. ..ented", as the maker's stamp is rather light. The cutters are sharp and in good useable condition in their present postion and the reverse position is fairly good with a chip out of one corner. New cutter inserts could be made for this tool for many more years of service. I've never seen another one of these in several years of collecting. A nice rare plier nipper!  Offering this nice ice pick with a good solid hand painted hardwood handle. About 50% of the original nickel plating is worn off, most of the wear on the prongs. The points are still fairly sharp. A nice collectible kitchen tool!  This is a nice clean vintage metal oil can advertising Texaco Home Lubricant. It's all metal except for the little red plastic cap. There is two minor dents in the can, otherwise minor discoloration overall. A nice can with metal spout!

I don't usually buy old tools. Firstly, I don't know what they are and secondly they usually aren't pretty. But this neat old Bakelite plastic metal tape measure caught my eye. It would be a neat stocking stuffer for the handyman or woman in your household. The tape measure has been used but does unroll and reroll smoothly. It measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. There is one tiny place where the plastic has been burned.. The nameplate reads, "Brownie, No. 116, Six Foot Plus, Made By Master
