Stanley Ruler--This 2 foot foldable wood ruler is Number 68--Has minor warpage--Marked: Stanley Rule and Level Co New Britian, Conn USA Box Wood Waranted

Rare FULL tin asthma smoke cigarette mix  Antique Auburn Tool Co. Rabbet Dado Wood Plane. This great old plane from the Auburn Tool Co. dates to 1864-93. It is 14" long x 7-1/2" wide x 7-1/4" tall. The knife is 1/4" wide and very sharp. Other than the top of the handle having some damage it is in excellent used condition.

This is a vintage box of 5000 staples to fit either a Model B or DT-30 Stapling pliers by "NEVA-CLOG PRODUCTS INC." (most of the stapling pliers are marked made in Germany as is this box on the side label). It appears about 500 staples were used, so the box is about 90% full of good staples (about 4500 of them), and a good solid box with some staining on the top. Be sure to check your pliers model first, as these staples are too heavy duty to fit into the lighter duty pliers like the model S for example. A hard to find vintage box of staples!

This is a very clean boxwood and brass trim square, made for use by a Taylor. It is 12" x 24" x .15 thick. This one is not marked by the maker, much like a Lufkin taylor's square, it is similar, but we see enough difference to believe that lufkin make this one. It's in nice condition with a nice finish on most of the wood, some scratches note near the 14" mark, and a smaller one near the 2" graduation on the short side, otherwise, a few minor stains, very little wear overall. We did check this square again a large precision square, and it is not as square as we would like to see, about 1/8" out of square over the full 12" length. There is a very mild amount of warpage on the long leg, short leg is fine. The brass, very good markings and number graduations in inches, good edges, straight wood sections. A nice one!  A booklet titled The Installation and Leveling of the Lathe. Bulletin H-3, Seventh reprint 1946. Published by South Bend Lathe Works. . This booklet is in fair condition, the cover is damaged  This is a used W.A. Whitney No 45 hand punch tool. Embossed on the tool: W.A. Whitney Mfg. The tool measures 8-1/2 inches length, 3-1/2 inches width and weighs 2.8 pounds (unpackaged). It retains most of its original green paint, and comes with the adjustable depth stop gauge.

Would punch thru different materials such as: Sheet metal, steel, aluminum, tin. This company started in 1906 and is still in operation, so accessories can still be easily obtained for this hand tool.

Somewhat different Razor Blade Sharpener w/Coin on the Top. The Coin is foreign (country??) Says Alfonso XII Por La Gracia De Dios dated 1878. The bottom underside of the piece has 3 patent dates as shown in the last photo. Measure about 1 1/4 in. height and 1 5/8 in. across the bottom. The slide mentioned is also brass and has the 10 pound markings and graduations on it. The scale can be used with a pan that is hung from the extra loop on the hook if you have one. The scale is in working condition, as you can see the brass cover plate has some bends and dings in it near the top and bottom mostly, the area around the circular dial is in very good shape, good indicator pointer, and the ring and hook are in nice shape. The back frame of the scale is cast iron with about 90% of the black paint intact, no rust, clean, no damage or cracks on the iron. The brass plate measures 4.25" wide x 10.8 high. A nice heavy duty antique hanging scale overall!   Offered is a Stanley Bedrock 605C Carpenter Plane. Overall condition I would consider good/very good. Item measures 21.5 cm high and about 36.5 cm long (8.1/2 inches by 14.1/4 inches). This is a nice clean, pocket knife gift type kit with detachable accessories and a vinyl case with holders for each. The sharp blade on the knife is not detachable, but all the other blades are. There is a file, can opener, and a slot tip screwdriver tip that fits the one end of the knife, and will lock nicely in place. There is a little opened ended wrench in the kit too, and it is marked "TRICO" the same name that is on the case. The little wrench doesn't fit on the knife. The sharp blade on the knife is marked "IMPERIAL PROV. U.S.A." on it, and it appears to have never been used. The kit comes in a case that has a snap and folds to a pocket size. The outside of the case has an advertisement by "GENUINE TRICO PRODUCTS" the windshield wiper company. The knife is of good quality from the 1950's to 60's era I suppose.  This is a nice clean and rare hog ringer pliers, clearly marked with raised cast lettering "HILLS RINGER PAT. AUG 72" on the areas around the pivot joint. These pliers are 6.7" long and have provision (jaw indentations) to set to hold the rings in place while closing the rings. The pliers are in good shape overall, the pivot pin is in good working order, with a little wear, snug, some original red and black paint noted, the jaws are in very good usable condition. We note that one handle seems to be a little shorter than the other, filed smooth on the shorter end, still plenty of handle to grab onto. A unique design, and a nice collectible farm tool overall!  This is a nice, clean, and working measuring tape with the steel 50' tape, marked "THE LUFKIN RULE CO. SAGINAW MICH. U.S.A. 50 FT." on one side, and "METALLIC TAPE MADE IN U.S.A." on the other side of the leather wrapped body. This style features the Woven Metallic Cloth tape measure in inch graduations with raise markings and graduation lines on one side of the 5/8" wide white cloth tape. This one also has the folding exterior tape crank handle so one can wind the tape back in cranking it sort of like a fishing reel. Works very well! The tape is very clean for the most part, some white color darkening on the 1st 6 inches, otherwise very clean, the tape end loop is in great shape very well attached. This one has the 1/2 inch graduations, and the tape is in good shape! This is certainly a collectible tool, as quality small tapes like this are no longer made today. The leather on the outside is real leather, and in pretty good shape, good stitching, some scuffs and scratches, darkening, but not cut or torn. The body under the leather is steel, and the hand crank area is nickel plated steel and brass with about 80% of the nickel plating intact overall. This is a 50 foot tape measure, the exterior body is on 4.3" diameter, and easy to handle size! By a well known toolmaker in the mid-1900's era! A tape of this quality would cost well over $100 for this size if it were being manufactured today. A classic colectible tape measure!

This is a nice clean 6" long nose pliers with the wire cutter feature marked "H. BOKER & CO. MADE IN U.S.A." on one side. The are in good working order with good jaws, some minor wear on the very point of the nose on the inside serations there.  This is a top quality used rawhide tipped weighted mallet with the metal head that has 2" diameter holes so that new 2" rawhide inserts can be inserted when needed. Most new 2" inserts made today are about 1/32" oversize, so with a little sanding or filing, new ones can be easily press fit into place, and they stay in very well because of the reverse taper in the metal head hole. It is in good condition overall, the rawhide tips are in very good to new condition, like new on the outside striking area. The inserts are about 1-1/2" long and can be used on both sides. This one has the 2" diameter raw-hide inserts in it. The handle is in very good shape, very well attached to the metal head.  This wood plane is over 50 years old and measures about 13.5 inches long. The handle has been repaired at one time. This carpenter plane has seen many years of work but is a wonderful vintage piece of days gone by. Marked Defiance and Made in USA. Average condition.

Sears You Can Build it with your Chain Saw.. Projects, basic cuts , tree felling, sharpening and care instructions  This is a good old hand forged grafting froe of knife. Most likely forged from an old file or similar tool, with a good solid tang going all the way through the wood handle and bent over on the end of the tang to hold the wood handle in place, a common way to hold the handle in the 1800's era. The wood handle may need a little work if you intend to use this tool, otherwise the handle is well attached, but has some splits in the grain that cause it to be alittle loose, however it is not cracked in halp, still in one piece. At we understand it, this tool was made to cut into the lower trunk area of a tree or shrub, for the purpose of introducing a new grafted limb in that area. There is a rounded cutting edge that is 5" long, is well formed but has not been sharpened for many years. It is fairly sharp, but need the cutting edge smoothed and honed sharp. The tip that is shaped much like a slot screwdriver tip is solid, and has a little wear at the tip mostly. An interesting hand made tool!
