This is a nice, clean heavy duty 17.5" long x .625" diameter brace auger bit. This is a extra thick single cutting edge, single spiral auger bit for heavy duty work. It was most likely made by Superior but is not clearly marked. We note that the tapered end, the cutting edge and the threaded screw end are all in very good working order. We also note no rust, clean, very little wear, and is straight. Drills just fine.  This is a nice, clean heavy duty 18" long x 1.25" diameter brace auger bit. This is a extra thick single cutting edge, single spiral auger bit for heavy duty work. It was most likely made by Superior but is not clearly marked. We note that the tapered end, the cutting edge and the threaded screw end are all in very good working order. We also note no rust, but some minor pitting on one side of the outside sprial area of this bit, yet the inside spiral is clean and polished smooth. Drill just fine.   This is a nice, clean 26" long blade, 8 point crosscut hand-saw marked, with the hanging scale (D8) etch on the blade the etch is still visiable and reads "HENRY DISSTION & SONS PHILIDEPHIA LIGHTWEIGHT" and also has a quality notice etched to the right side of this makers' etch. The blade is also stamp "8" just below the handle on the steel (the teeth per inch) "DISSTON * U.S.A. *" on the nickel plated medallion on the handle. Nice clean applewood handle with some wear on the thick clear finish mostly, solid, not cracked, not chipped, but has some tiny specks of old paint here and there, dings, otherwise very clean overall. The nickel plated hardware appears to be in great shape, the handle fits tightly. The blade is about 98% straight, with a very minor wave, not bent, not kinked, with light staining, none bad enough to cause use problems, no missing teeth, about 99% sharpness, or very sharp and ready to use. This saw was sharpened, used a few times since and cuts just fine. A very good quality saw from the early 1930's era. A nice, clean, old skew back saw in good, useable condition!

Offering this very nice, clean No. 3 size (9" long) (smooth bottom) smooth plane retaining about 98% of it's original paint, this plane is in very good working condition with nice solid rosewood stained hardwood handle and front knob. The tote handle and knob has some stain and clear finish worn off, but is solid, and not cracked, still functional, good smooth finish. This plane cutter iron is 1.75" wide, and marked "FULTON MADE IN U.S.A." on the cutter. There is no cracks or rust in the metal castings, very little wear a few tiny edge dings, a few minor scratches on the bottom. The bottom is clean, flat and smooth, some minor staining noted on the bottom mostly, no rust, very clean, little sign of use. There is plenty of length on the sharp cutter, and all the adjustments work smoothly. This 1930's era model, features a press form steel frog, very sturdy, and has both cutter depth adjustment, and lateral adjustment, and a very nice cap cover design! All adjustment work just fine. This is one of the cleanest we have seen of this size by Fulton in a long time. The quality of this plane is comparable to Sargent or Stanley, made to last a life time and then some! The size and quality of casting are similar to that of the Stanley No. 3 size smooth plane. A very nice smooth plane, well preserved, and in very good working order!

Fulton Smooth Plane 1930's Era No. 3 Siz $60.00

This is a very nice, clean, single speed hand drill marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. No. 77 MADE IN U.S.A." on the crank handle. This drill is in very nice shape with about 75% of the original paint intact, and a nice finish on all three hardwood handles. We do note a tight wood grain split on the main end handle, but it still fits very tightly to the main frame. The gears, and all the shafts are in great shape, turns smoothly. The 0-3/16" diameter capacity, 3 jaw chuck, all in great shape! A very nice tool overall!

Offering this very nice clean 8 TPI cross-cut hand-saw marked "KEYSTONE K-4 AIR MASTER REG. US. PAT. OFF. MADE BY DISSTON U.S.A." The blade on this saw is only 26" long, no rust, no missing teeth, recently re-shapened, and is about 99% straight, very very useable. The hardwood handle is in very nice solid condition, no cracks, or chips, has a dark stain type finish, nickel plated hardware, and the Disston Eagle logo and marked "WARRENTED SUPERIOR". The handle still has most of it's original finish, very little wear is noted, looks great, fits tight to the blade. Overall length is 29.4" including the handle. A nice, sharp, straight saw, 97% like new with only minor handling wear, and a few scratches!

This is a top quality smooth plane with extra nice finishing features! All the hardware is nickel plated including the screws, cap cover, cutter, and cutter cover plate. It has the original "CRAFTSMAN" sticker on the bed, and the "CRAFTSMAN" logo on the cap cover, and on the cutter blade "MADE IN U.S.A." also. It is also marked "MADE IN U.S.A." on the bed behind the frog. It is not corrugated on the bottom, but smooth and flat. Over 98% of the original paint is intact, red on the frog and black on the plane bottom. The handle and knob are lacquered rosewood stain, no cracks, very little wear, a few very minor, and small dings. There is no casting cracks, light wear, over 95% cutter stock intact, sharp cutter. A very nice quality plane for display or for use, ready to work! We have learned recently that many of the Craftsman planes were made by Dunlap, specifically for Craftsman, during the 1950's era or mid-1900's. This is one of the nicest examples we have seen to date in this size. It is actually nicer looking than most Stanley No. 4 planes, it's closest competitor. This plane is 9.75" long with a 2.0" wide cutter. Very nice looking! Great Quality! Made in U.S.A.!

Offering this very nice clean 8 TPI cross-cut hand-saw marked "KEYSTONE K-4 AIR MASTER REG. US. PAT. OFF. MADE BY DISSTON U.S.A." The blade on this saw is only 26" long, no rust, no missing teeth, and is about 98% straight, very very useable. The hardwood handle is in nice solid condition, no crack, or chips, has the Disston Eagle logo and marked "WARRENTED SUPERIOR". The handle still has most of it's original finish, some wear is noted, like tiny edge dings and surface scratches, looks nice, fits tight to the blade. Overall length is 29.4" including the handle. A nice, sharp, straight saw, 95% like new with only minor handling wear, and a few scratches!

Millers Falls Hand Drill No. 77 Single S $28.00

Disston K-4 Keystone AIR MASTER Hand-Saw $70.00

Craftsman Smooth Plane No. 4 Size Nice! $70.00

Disston Saw K-4 Keystone AIR MASTER Hand $45.00

Offering this nice clean Dunlap Smooth Plane in very good condition. It comes complete with the original carboard box. It is marked "DUNLAP" on the cap cover, and "DUNLAP REG. TRADE MARK 619.3702" on the cutter blade. It has about 98% of it's original Japanning intact. The rosewood stained hardwood handle and front knob are in great shape, no sign of wear of use. Has a large brass adjustment knob on the back of the frog for easy adjusting of the blade depth. The blade is very sharp and about 100% original stock is left on it. This is the first one of these I've seen, with the original box I was told it was purchased in the late 1950's to early 1960's.

The original box is fairly thin carboard, but is intact, although it has lost some of it's original shape. The box confirms that the DUNLAP trade mark is indeed a Sears and Roebuck Co. trade mark since both names are printed on the box. On quality comparision to a Stanley No. 4 plane for example from the same era, the Dunlap has most of the same feature, but not the frog adjustment screw. The Dunlap finished bare metal surfaces are flat, and square, nicely machined. The bare metal surfaces on this one have no rust, but we do note some small spots that do have some minor pitting on them, but none effecting use, no rust now. If not for the pitting this plane would be like new! Sears and

Roebuck also had offered similar plane under the Craftsman brand name, not sure why they would want to, but history seems to reflect that the Craftsman name was specific to only certain manufactures product, and patents.  Offering this very nice clean smooth plane, that appears to be unused! It is marked "STANLEY MADE IN ENGLAND 20 DEGREE ANGLE FOR GRINDING" on the cutter blade, also marked "STANLEY" on the nickel plated cap cover, and "012-004 MADE IN ENGLAND" on the bed behind the frog. This plane has about 99% original black Japanning intact, a good sharp 2 inch wide cutter - about 100% intact, no cracks or chips, good clean bare metal, only minor darkened spot or stains here and there. The rosewood tote and knob are actually molded industrial plastic, but one has to look closely to tell the difference from rosewood. Both handle and knob are good++ no cracks or chips, a few minor scuffs, very nice, solid. In comparison to the early 1900's era Stanley planes, all the qualities of those old castings are incorporated in the quality of this plane, the major different is the plastic handles, which in my experience hold up as well as the rosewood does, but the plastic is much less prone to chips or crack in comparison. The plane also has the frog adjustment screw, lateral and depth cutter adjustments, and the same quality of surface ground bare metal surfaces of any era Stanley planes I have seen from the past. A nice ready to use or display plane by a top quality maker! If you would rather have hardwood handles, we do have replacement handles to fit this model in stock!

Offering this nice clean Bedrock 14" long Jack plane marked "NO. 605 PAT'D APR.2.95" on the bed in raised cast lettering. The near full length cutter has the "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. NEW BRITAIN CONN. U.S.A." logo on it and is marked "STANLEY" on the cap cover. This plane version should have a cap cover marked BEDROCK on it according to the old catalogs, price adjusted accordingly. The cap cover that is one it works just fine. A nice clean plane in good++ condition with about 85% of it's original Japanning intact, nice rosewood front knob, solid a few dings, much of the original varnish intact. The tote handle is also rosewood in very solid condition with wear, a some dings and scratches, no cracks or repairs. A nice sharp cutter ready to use. We do note some scratches on the bottom, not very deep, but about 5" long on average, doesn't effect use of the plane. No cracks on the cast iron a few tiny edge dings, very minor wear overall. A nice clean top quality BEDROCK Jack plane!

Vintage Late 1800s Hand Saw Tooth Setter

Vintage draw knife used by woodworkers. Overall length from handle to handle is 17 inches. The blade measures 10 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.

The knife is marked on the blade but I can no longer read all of the letters.

Note how the handles are attached to the knife. The metal was bent over to hold the handles securely.

As you can see it has been well used and would make a nice addition to your vintage tool collection.

Vintage 8 inch T Bevel with Rosewood body and brass bound ends. The brass tightening lever works good and the blade opens, slides and closes just like it was made to do.

This tool shows that it was used a great deal, one of the brass bound ends is missing the the tightening lever is missing and was repaired by someone.

It still would make a nice addition to your collection

A very nice hand made wooden plane. I've looked all over this piece to find a manufacturers mark and I can't find one.

You can tell from the pieces that this was most likely made by hand by some wood worker. The metal working piece even appears to be hand crafted.

It measures 16 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches deep.

A really nice piece of wood working hand tools.

This is a very rare, clean spiral ratchet screwdriver, it is marked "MILLERS FALLS GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 61A PATENTED MARCH 30, 1926" on the nickel plated area between the handle and the selector switch. It measures 17" long overall fully extended without the bit, has a rosewood stained hardwood handle. The wood handle is solid with about 90% of it's original finish intact, we note a number of tiny to small scratches, light bench wear, as shown in the pictures. The steel screwdriver head and shaft is in very good useable condition with very little wear. Nickel plating is 95% intact. The selector on this one moves smoothly and holds position very well, three position, left, right, lock. The spiral function is not spring loaded on this one, and can be locked in the compressed position. The bits are removeable, and has a 9/32" or .280" diameter shank, and will except that size Yankee Phillips adapter bits that we also offer for sale (under Yankee with the search feature ref. Number is T5630A). A very nice larger sized spiral ratcheting screwdriver! There is three slot bits include with this screwdriver, one 3/16" and one 1/4", and one 5/16" wide bits at the tip, both in great shape. A very nice antique ratchet spiral screwdriver from the 1920's era!

Millers Falls No. 61A Spiral Ratchet Scr $48.00

This is a nice clean 15" long, two speed hand drill marked "YANKEE NO. 1445 NORTH BROS. MFG. CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A. PAT AUG.23.10, JAN.16.12", on the crank handle, and "PATENT PEND." on the 3 jaw chuck. There is also a patent date on the ferrule of the head handle "APR.15.18". North Brothers was one of the top maker's of hand, breast, and push drills, from the late 1800's to 1946, when the sold out to Stanley Tools. This model was the larger 2 speed hand drill with a very slow, and fast speeds. The speed selector is the flip switch type, located near the exposed gear assembly area, it slides back and forth to adjust the speed, works just fine. We note that there is a small chip of cast iron off the area that is near the screw that holds the crank handle in place. The handle bracket is nickel plated and fits into the area of two tabs, one of these tabs that traps the bracket in place is chip off, but the screw is good size and holds the bracket in place just fine, even under pressure durning use. The wood side handle is the removable type with a threaded post at the end to attach it very securely to the main frame of the drill. The crank handle is also removable, the wood handle is solid, looks nice. The end handle is removeable and also, is hollow inside for drill bit storage, is very solid, attaches very securely. We note a owner's mark (the initial A) on the end of the handle, and a small chip of wood off the end handle at the steel ferrule area as shown in the pictures, but overall it is solid, no other damage, and in very good working condition. The handles are all solid, attach very well, study. The side handle is in very good shape. The 3 jaw straight shank chuck, has the 3/8" straight shank type, diameter capacity, and is in good+ condition, some wear noted, some tiny dings on the knurled area of the chuck sleeve, turns true on center, good jaw springs. As you can see in the pictures there is some paint loss on the this hand drill, in fact very little left intact, but no rust or pitting, with very good moving parts, and looks good too! All the gears are very good, no cracks or chips. Overall a very nice antique drill and it operates very smoothly.  This is a quality made single speed hand drill, marked "STANLEY NO. 620 MADE IN U.S.A." on the crank wheel handle area, and also has most of a Stanley Tools label on the crank wheel. It has a 3/8" diameter capacity 3 jaw chuck in very good working condition. This hand-crank type drill measures 11.3" long. It features nice solid handles, painted burgandy (rosewood stain) and red on the threaded larger part of the end handle. The threaded end cap is removable and the handle is hollow inside for drill bit storage, some drill bits supplied as shown in the pictures, all bits are different sizes. In very good condition overall with only minor wear on the paint, no rust no damage, cranks very smoothly, very nice 3-jaw chuck. A hard to find model in this nice of condition!  This is a quality made single speed hand drill, marked "STANLEY HANDYMAN NO. H1220 MADE IN U.S.A." on the crank wheel area. It has a 3/8" diameter capacity 3 jaw chuck in very good working condition. This hand-crank type drill measures 11.3" long. It features nice solid handles, painted gray and red on the threaded end cap, and a nickel plated main body. The red cap is removable and the handle is hollow inside for drill bit storage, some drill bits supplied as shown in the pictures. In very good condition overall with only minor wear on the red paint. A hard to find model in this nice of condition!

This is a very nice, clean, single speed hand drill marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. No. 38 GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A." on the crank handle, and also marked "MILLERS FALLS COMPANY" on the 4.5" crank wheel. This drill is in very nice shape with about 75% of the original paint intact, and good solid hardwood handles. The end handle has a threaded end cap, and room inside the handle to store the included spiral drill bits you see in the pictures. We note that it appears there was a larger pin fitted into the nickel plated furrule at one time in the past, there is a very minor wiggle of the handle to frame, not bad otherwise very well attached, with no damage, no cracks, good end cap threads. This is a rather rare model, with a die cast frame which encloses pinion gear to some extent. The pinion needs a drip of oil or two each time it is used for smoothest operation. The gears, and all the shafts are in great shape, turns smoothly. The 1/32-5/16" " diameter capacity, 3 jaw chuck, good jaw springs, a few minor exterior scratchs on the chuck, otherwise, all in great shape! A very nice tool overall!

Stanley Hand Crank Hand Drill Egg-Beater $38.00

Stanley No. H1220 Handyman Hand Drill Eg $25.00

Millers Falls Hand Drill No. 38 Single S $65.00

This is a top quality antique, egg-beater type hand drill from the 1920's-30's era. It is one of the smoothest operating hand crank drills we have offered for sale in it's size! This is partly due the the ball bearings on the thrust plate area just behind the 3-jaw chuck, if compared to a average Millers Falls or Stanley for example, this drill is superior in quality of manufacturing and operation! A few other quality feature is in the end handle. It has a removeable end cap, and storage in the handle for the included spiral drill bits shown in the pictures. Also, the same handle is removeable, as is the side handle, making the drill much easier to store in a drawer, tool chest or cabinet! Both handles are threaded at the end and have matching threaded holes in the main frame of the drill to screw into. There is no damage to the drill, no missing gear teeth, very little wear noted, in fact about 80% of the original paint is intact overall. The paint on the frame is black, and on the crank wheel dark green. All three handles are solid, fit good, no lose or wobbly, no cracks, most of the dark stained finish is worn off the two smaller handles, where the end handle has about 40% of the stain intact. The three jaw chuck is in very good condition, and it has a capacity from 1/32" to 5/16" diameter straight shank drill bits. Although this type of drill works best on wood and some soft meterials like aluminum and brass, it can also be used on soft steel with the drill bits supplied. This drill is 14" long overall and the frame is 8.65" long with the end handle removed, including the chuck. The crank handle is marked "METRO TOOL WORKS GERMANY", a rare seen tool maker who also made push drills of similar top quality! This drill will make a nice one of a kind gift!  This is a nice clean 1/2" wide x 9.4" long socket beveled chisel marked "FULTON". It's in good shape, sharp and ready to use. There is no rust, no pitting, no damage, sharp and ready to use. The hardwood socket handle has the leather cap end, and is solid with no cracks or damage, very nice shape. A good quality chisel!

This is a nice, clean 26" long blade, 7 point crosscut (could be used to rip also) hand-saw marked, with the hanging scale (D8) etch, but is very light, just enough etch still visiable to know it is a D8 Disston blade. The blade marked "7" just below the handle on the steel (the teeth per inch) "DISSTON * U.S.A. *" on the brass medallion on the handle. Nice clean applewood handle with some wear, solid, not cracked, not chipped, but has some scratches, dings, and some minor staining. The brass hardware appears to be in very good condition, the handle fits tightly. The blade is very straight, with light staining, some pitting but none bad enough to cause use problems, no missing teeth, about 95% sharpness. This saw was sharpened, used a few time since and cuts just fine. A very good quality saw from the early 1930's era. A nice, clean, old skew back saw in good, useable condition!

This is a very nice clean Disston D-7 9 teeth per inch cross-cut hand-saw, with the "*DISSTON* U.S.A." medallion on the handle. This is a good sharp, straight saw, with a nice clean handle and blade. The blade is rust free, with minor pitting on less than 10% of the blade, about 98% straight, with a very minor wave, hardly worth mentioning. The etch or blade mark can be seen on this one, reads "HENRY DISSTON & SONS INC. KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADELPHIA U.S.A. D-7 LIGHTWEIGHT". The handle hardware and handle are clean and solid, the handle has some of edge wear around the parimeter, but not cracked, or chipped, and still has a good appearence. We note most of the clear lacquer finish is worn off the handle, but it is smooth and has a nice patina. A nice clean, useable crosscut hand saw, in sharp, ready to use condition! Also a nice looking hard to find (D7) type saw by a well known quality tool maker!

It has an Atkins shape handle, and is marked "WARRANTED SUPERIOR" with the spread wing eagle logo on the medallion. This one seems to have been well cared for, and enough so that it will be useful to finish cut wood today!  Antique Metal Hook looks like Cast Iron, but could be Steel,I can't tell the difference with this Hook.

Shipping is $5.45 USA Domestic Priority (3 days). Stamped Yale and Towne.  The great Wilton Company made this really big boy,and I guess it would serve to hold something really strong in its grip. Original owner Soldered their Initials on it ages ago. It had to be late 40s because the vise was in the house when my friends bought it in the early 1950s. Shipping will be $10.95 USA Domestic Priority (3 days).

This is a nice clean 9 TPI skew back cross cut saw marked with the "DISSTON *PHILA*" logo on the handle medallion, and also has a partially visiable etch on the 26" blade. The handle is solid, a dark reddish brown with some black stained in a few area, a some small outer edge dings on it, some other minor dings and scratches, otherwise solid, no cracks or chipped off areas. The 26" long blade is about 98% straight, not perfect, but close, clean no rust, some minor pitting on about 70% of the total steel blade area, no missing teeth, sharp and ready to use. The pitting noted should not effect use, as the blade is smooth and clean. This is one of several saws that we have for sale, of which are straight, sharpened and ready to cut, this one included, extremely sharp. A very clean crosscut hand-saw overall, in both appearance and functionality!  This is a nice clean crosscut hand-saw marked, "ESTABLISHED 1840 HENRY DISSTON & SONS D-23 (hanging scale logo) PHILADELPHIA U.S.A. LIGHTWEIGHT REG. U.S. PAT OFF M. IND RGTRANDA FOR BEAUTY FINISH HAND UTILITY THIS SAW CANNOT BE EXCELLED HENRY DISSTON" (signature in writing script) "5-1/2" just below the handle on the steel (indicating the teeth number per inch) "DISSTON * U.S.A. * " on the brass medallion on the handle. The handle is wheat carved on one side, nice brass hardware, no cracks in the handle, some minor edge dings, and some minor staining, but has a nice smooth finish.   This is a very nice smaller set of 7 brace auger bits in a leatherette type auger bit roll that has 7 pockets. The auger bits are all in very good, sharpe ready to use condition, no rust or damage, a few show signs of being re-sharpen, very well cared for, not abused. The size are 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16/16ths. All are marked "RUSSELL JENNINGS" on the shank of each. These appear to be from the 1930's-40's era, the 7 slot roll may be newer than that. The auger bits are all brace type bits with the tapered end shanks to fit into the 2-jaw chuck generally found on antique braces and some breast drill also. Each auger bit is the standard 9" length. The heavy leatherette or vinyl roll is in sound condition with some wear, clean, but has a few shop stains, most of the thread stitching is intact. A very nice useable set of vintage/antique brace auger bits by a very well known, quality maker!

This is a very nice side handle to fit certain smaller egg beater type hand drills that have a 5/16" diameter tapped hole in the side of the frame of the drill. This style is sometimes refered to as a mushroom or chef's cap type or shape. This walunt handle is in fine condition overall with a similar dark stain and clear finish on it as compared to the orginal side handle of the late 1900 era rosewood handles. Very study, no cracks, good ferrule and threads. It measures 1.75" diameter x 1.75" long overall not including the threaded rod. It has a 5/16-18 threaded rod incorporated in it, so it is ready to mount to your hand drill. A hard to find replacement! Price is per each handle.

This is a quality U.S.A. made, used but like new, professional, all metal Yankee push drill marked "STANLEY YANKEE 03-043 U.S.A." on the chrome plated steel shaft. This new hand drill comes with 8 fluted drill points (bits)(a full set) from 1/16" to 11/64" diameters. This push drill features the hollow steel handle with an spacer inside to store up to 10 drills. Simply push the handle to drill your holes. This one has a spring loaded type chuck that holds the drill bits in place, works great. Measures 10" long.

Also included, you get the Stanley 10" long, multi-bit ratchet screwdriver, 68-010 with the ergonomic rubberized metal handle, (metal w/plastic end cap and rotary switch and storage) and also has storage for up to 6 of your favorite bits in the front section of the handle. A total of 10 bits comes with this package deal to fit this screwdriver. You get various sized Phillips, slotted, square drive, and star drive bits, making this a super versatile tool package for so many of the around the house or shop projects! The screwdriver is super well made, the best grip of any of the screwdrivers that I own, and has become my personal favorite for most small projects! The ratchet feature is controlled by a rotary switch in the center of the handle, for clockwise, lock and counterclockwise positions. The handle has flats on it, so it doesn't roll off the work bench, like many of my old screwdrivers do, and that rubberized grip is the best grip I have on any tool like it. What is really nice about both of these tools it that you can put them in your work pouch and since they have tool bit storage, you don't have to get back down off the ladder to get the bit you need to install or remove that accessory. The screwdriver also has a wall bracket to hold the screwdriver and 4 of the included bits. We know you will be pleased with your purchase of these quality made tools, and we have little doubt that you will pass them along to your children and friends. Makes a very nice gift and any handyman! The price is for one push drill w/8 bits, and one ratchet screwdriver as described above.

Stanley Fore Plane No. 6C Type 17 1940's $82.00

This is a nice clean Stanley jointer user plane with an old repair at the toe area on the bed casting. The repair is a welded spot across the toe in front of the BAILEY lettering. It is a good repair, only a few small pit marks can and some light darkening can be seen on the bottom (most weld on the top near the lettering), and the bottom is flat. This plane has been tested and cuts just fine. It has been cleaned, has no rust and no other damage noted. This plane is marked "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL NEW BRITAIN CONN. U.S.A." on the cutter (with the V-shaped logo), and "STANLEY PAT. 7.24.88" on the lateral lever, has most of the "Bailey" mark on the bed in front of the knob, and "No. 7" behind the tote, The patent dates are in raised lettering "PAT'D MAR-25-02 AUG-19-02" in front of the tote handle. Overall the plane is in very good working condition with about 20% of it's original black Japanning intact. The front knob and rear tote are both rosewood, both solid in good shape, the tote has a section chipped off the top, otherwise solid, both knob and handle are clean with some minor wear like tiny dings and scratches. The cutter is sharp and about 80% intact. At some point the cutter's cutting edge was ground on the reverse side, as the Stanley marking on the cutter is on the reverse side from where is should be. Sometime this happened at the factory. The cutter is sharp and ready to cut, we do not some minor pitting on the areas away from the cutting edge on the cutter and some on the chip breaker also. The bare metal has a slightly darkened patina, no pitting, smooth and nice with little wear or scratches. Overall a nice user, jointer plane from the early 1900's era!  This is a very good used jointer plane marked "FULTON" on the raised pad just behind the front knob. It also has another raised pad just behind the frog, marked "5270", that may be the part number, not sure. This jointer plane has the corrugated bottom, and at a glance appears to have the same proportions as the Stanley No. 7C from around the same period. Overall the plane is in very good condition with about 90% of it's original black Japanning intact. The front knob and rear tote are hardwood, both solid in very good shape, some minor wear, a dent on the top of the tote handle, no cracks, nice finish. The 2.375" wide cutter is sharp and about 95% intact in length, with very little wear, very clean all around and sharp, ready to use. The is no markings on the cutter at all. The bare metal on the plane has a slightly darkened patina, some very minor pitting and a few tiny edge dings, no rust or cracks. This model has no frog adjustment screw in it's design, much like the older Stanley planes from the same vintage years. Overall a very nice, hard to find plane, by a quality maker. As well made as the similar Stanley No. 7, but this Fulton has a 2-3/8" wide cutter.  This is a very clean Stanley Jack plane from the World War II era. It is 14" long x 2" wide cutter. It has 94% of the original Japanning intact, very clean! The bed is the heavy wall type that Stanley made during the War period. The hardwood handle and knob are in very good condition no cracks, clean very nice finish on them. The cap cover is marked "STANLEY" in raised lettering. The bed is marked "BAILEY MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 5" and the cutter is marked with the rectangular logo "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A.". The cutter is about 98% full length, sharp and ready to use. The bare metal surfaces are all very clean, no rust very little wear, a few tiny edge dings noted. A very nice plane with a good flat bottom ready to use! This particular plane has a few features that I have rarely observed on planes from the WWII period. It has the hard rubber and metal cutter depth adjustment, and the older stype frog with on frog adjustment screw also. Walter's book on Stanley Tools mentions this is rarely observed but has been on the Type 17. Also note his book says some do not have the kidney shaped hole in the cap cover, as is the rare case with this plane. A very well maintained plane!  This is a very clean Stanley Jack plane from the World War II era. It is 14" long x 2" wide cutter. It has nearly all of it's original Japanning, very clean! The bed is the heavy wall type that Stanley made during the War period. The hardwood handle and knob are in very good condition no cracks, clean very nice finish on them. The cap cover has the kidney shape screw hole and is marked "STANLEY" in raised lettering, and has most of the nickel plating intact. The bed is marked "BAILEY MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 5" and the cutter is marked with the rectangular logo "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A.". The bare metal surfaces are all very clean, no rust very little wear, a few tiny edge dings noted. A very nice plane with a good corrigated bottom for ease of use!
