The Most Recent Additions to This Category are First!

An aluminum toy coffee pot with original percolator basket and stem, red handle and red and clear plastic lid. Cute little animal embossed on the front, could be a cat or a bear, I'm not sure.

CONDITION: A small dent on the rim of the base, small dent to end of spout. Minor scuffing to the aluminum. In other words, played with.

Toy china tea set in original box, made in Japan, possibly 1960's to early 70's.

Sweet little set with teapot and lid, creamer, sugar with lid, 4 teacups and 4 plates. I don't think this one got very much use.

CONDITION: Excellent with no chips or cracks. Box cover has original cellophane window. Box cover shows wear and has one split corner. Box bottom is like new, as is the china.  Vintage Pull Toy. The Toy is made of Wood. No Makers Mark. Has a Pig Figure Design on each side. The Toy looks Factory Made, but not sure? The Size of the Toy: 6 1/2 inches Long x 2 inches Wide x 7 inches High. Great Old Wooden Pull Toy. Please e-mail me with any Questions!  Psychoboard with Mystic Crystal Board claims to search your subconscious and find the answers to all your questions. Made by U.S. Steel and Happy Hour in 1957. Missing one paper disc which would be very easy to make a replacement. Instructions included.

Up for auction is a Pez "Fat Ear Bunny", made in Austria in the late 1960's. The patent No. 3,410,455 (3.4) indicates that it is a 2nd series, 1968. There is a #2 IMC above the "P" in Pez, indicating that it was made in Austria. This Bunny, introduced in 1963 for the Easter collection, features the unique shorter, fatter ears. It has no feet and appears to be fully functional with no breaks or cracks in the plastic. The slide goes all the way up and down, with a strong spring. There is some slight chipping of the paint in the whites of the eyes and on the tip of the nose (see pictures). On the top of the head there is what appears to be a small scuff mark, along with an area, above one eye, where it looks as if the paint from the eyes may have missed its mark. It has been used and would benefit from a good cleaning with a q-tip, but I have left that to the purchaser.  2 ca 1920s Viscaloid/Celluloid Dogs

Celluloid was made in the 1920’s and 1930’s mainly in the U.S. and Japan. The process resulted in finely detailed, hollow, delicate pieces of which this is a great example. Great detail (and paint) on the face.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 1/2" tall.

Condition: No cracks, splits or dents. Excellent condition.

Vintage Mechanical Wind Up Santa Claus in the original box from the 1940's made in Japan

IT STILL WORKS!! I wound it up and the body sways side to side and the bell rings as Santa moves.

The body appears to be tin covered with cloth and as you can see it has been well used.

Santa's head is made of what appears to be a plastic or composite material. The box is a bit tattered and has printed on the lower left corner: Trade Mark ALPS Made In Japan.

A nice vintage piece to add to your Christmas Collection.

Horse with gold armor from the Marx Noble Knights series, dated 1968. Has all 4 wheels on the hooves, armor is intact but the crupper (rump) is loose. Played with condition-has a few scratches and play wear marks but not too bad, 1 throat strap is missing, left side saddle panel has a strap broken. From my personal collection, I got this new as a kid. Great for any toy or horse collection!

This item looks to me like it may be a sample of a drill. Perhaps built from an erector set? Stands 13 in. tall and the base is 4.25 in. diameter. I think it needs some belts replaced. There is no makers name on it. Best guesstimate is it is from the 1930's-1940's era. Any information would be very welcome. Purchased at an estate auction. Please view images carefully as I have tried to show it from all angles.  A battery operated Cragstan Sewing Machine for children. It works! Requires 2 D size batteries which are not included. Box has one end undone.  Dating from about 1920s +, this doll has a cloth body with a hard cloth head and beautiful blue glass eyes. Hand drawn features. She wears an apricot velvet dress and hat. There are moth holes to her clothes, and she has some stains and general dirt - I’m sure she would clean up for a loving owner. Her face is beautiful, and her hair (which I think is real hair) is worn in the 1920s style. Unfortunately, where her hat used to be attached, she has a bald spot. Measures about 42 cm long (16.1/2 inches).  Vintage Dot Cook With Cash Cast Iron Stove Piggy Bank. This cute stove is 4-1/4" tall x 3-3/8" long x 2-1/2" wide.  I am not sure if these vintage white cotton christening gowns were originally made for real babies, or for dolls. The first is 21-1/2 inches long from shoulder to hem. It has vertical rows of pintucking below the neckline and pink satin insertion ribbon at the front and back on either side of the pintucks. The ribbon has a repeating birds in flight design woven into it. Little white embroidered flowers alternate with the ribbon decoration. The same type of pink ribbon but more narrow gathers the sleeves. There is no back closure, I believe this was done on purpose for ease in dressing and undressing the baby. The dress hem has decorative pink satin french knot embroidery. This dress appears to have never been used and has its original sizing, no stains or tears.

The second christening gown has white-on-white eyelet flower embroidery and is about 21 inches long. The hem is unfinished, just raw fabric, and the back opening also has no closures. Though a little creased from storage, this dress too appears unused with its original sizing, no damage or stains. They are nicer and prettier than the photos show, though both have been in storage for many years and will need airing out or laundering due to a mild linen-closet smell. Any yellowish or shadowed areas to the fabric are from the lighting - both are pure white.

This estate christening gown was worn by a baby girl born in 1922, lovingly machine sewn by her mother or grandmother. It's quite long, 35 inches from the neck to the bottom of the hem at the front center. The fabric is a fine, lightweight cotton lawn or batiste with pale lavender pindots. The bodice, neckline, and gathered sleeves are trimmed in narrow white lace. The back has three mother-of-pearl button closures.

The gown has three tears to the fabric, shown in the last picture. One is below the bodice and to the left, the others are to the left sleeve. There are also a couple of spots near the hem, shown in closeup in the next to last picture. I'm noticing some possible age yellowing near the bodice in the photos. I can't see it as I write this, I believe most if not all of the yellowish color is from the lighting. Entirely suitable to dress an antique baby doll.
