INSIDE IS A PAIR OF 3 INCH LONG, ORNATE TRIM SCISSORS MARKED U.S.A., A NEEDLE THREADER, NEEDLES, 5 OLD SPOOLS OF THREAD ON WOOD SPOOLS, PLUS THE ADVERTISING SHEET TUCKED IN THE BACK. THE BOX MEASURES 4 3/4 INCHES LONG, 2 5/8 INCHES WIDE AND 1 1/4 INCHES HIGH. A GREAT FIND.  Nice early Pleating Device from the Maxant Button & Supply Co., Manufacturers or Button and Pleating Outfits Chicago Illinois. Device is fairly clean and overall very good condition. Would make a fine addition to your Vintage Clothing or Sewing collection. Buyer to pay shipping.  Offered is a very nice little Lion Pin Cushion. Lion is in the lying position measuring about 4 1/2" in length. Appears to be made of a pot metal/cast material. I'm guessing piece is from the 1940's to 50's era. This vintage cotton machine made lace is done in white and perwinkle blue. You are getting 15 feet of it, but I would say that 12 feet is usable and in great condition. It measures just about 1 inch high.  Though perfectly usable, this mint card of vintage snaps is far better left whole. The very art deco looking logo would make a cool framed accent for a sewing room. The card measures 5 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide and is in near mint condition.  1951 Bernat book features over 27 fabulous 50s knit sweaters, vests, cardigans, socks, golf club covers etc. with full instructions. So very back in style now. Click photo for more pics. Very good condition with some curling on the cover corners.  A round shaped darning egg that I think was used for darning the heel of the sock or anyplace you needed a firm flat surface to work on. Measures 4 in. long and about 2 in. diameter. The paint is worn due to use and age. Nice vintage item to display in your sewing room.

This wood darning egg is in good, usable condition. Measures 6 in. long and is approx. 2 in. diameter. The black and white paint is worn from use and age. Used for darning socks, etc. Place in the toe of the sock to give a firm surface to weave mending thread to enclose the hole.  This neat old wooden needle case is plain and measures 1 5/8ths inches tall and 5/8ths inches wide. It is empty.  This neat old wooden needle case is labeled Boyes and measures 2 1/2 inches tall and 5/8ths inches wide. It is empty.  This nice old needle folder from Pittsburgh Paint hails from Thompson Yeards in Monterey, Minnesota. There is only one needle left in the packet.

This cute painted plaster boot has a pin cushion on top. It stands 3 inches tall. There is some paint wear. I don't see any markings.  This wonderful old red plastic advertising piece holds a stitch ripper and stitch picker. It advertises A.C. Ochs, Springfield, Minn. It measures 4 1/4 inches long and 5/8ths inches high. It is in great condition and still very usable.  This cute yellow plastic shoe pin cushion measures 3 inches high and 4 3/4 inches long. It has a yellow peau d sois fabric cushion and is in good condition. I don't see any markings.  This sweet little lustered china shoe measures 1 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches long. It has a red velvet pin cushion and is marked West Bend, Iowa. It is marked, JAPAN, on the bottom.

This wonderful old crochet hook is carved from bone. It is a small hook and is in great condition. It measures just about 6 inches long.  Plastic button with rhinestones. There is fading of the plastic. 1"  Art nouveau button. Metal with enameled flower desig and faux turquoise cabachons. 1/2" .  This sweet porcelain thimble is hand painted decorated with tiny blue flowers and a gold top. It stands 3/4 inch tall and has an opening of 5/8ths inches. It is signed, MP, on the inside.

This fine vintage advertisement for a 1954 ad for Pfaff Dial A Stitch Sewing Machine is in excellent condition but the edges have some slight stains and measures approx. 9 3/4" x 12 1/2". This ad depicts a little girl sitting by the sewing machine.  This very cool dress decoration was at one time sewn onto a dress or a fabric belt. But you are only limited for uses by your imagination. The goldtone metal rectangle is an open design with green, red and amber glass rhinestones. It measures 2 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/8th inches high. It is in excellent condition with no markings.  This fine ad is in near mint condition with slightly yellowed edges and measures approx. 8 1/4" x 11 1/4". This ad is suitable for framing.
