I don't often find the old sewing accessories. So many have been discarded. But this paper needle book is in great condition and still contains some of the original needles. It measures 3 1/4 inches by 5 inches.  Advertising Box - J and P Coats Mending Floss, Sold by The Spool Cotton Company, New York. Box measures 4" long, 1 3/4" wide and 3/4" high. The box is black with a pair of ladies legs in a circle and gold lettering on the top and sides. Box states the mending floss can be used for mending silk hosiery gloves and underwear. Box is in very nice condition with minor wear.  Compliments of Your A&P Food Store. This is an orginal sewing kit dated to the 1950s, made in West Germany. Kit includes 40 premium sewing needles of all sizes and a needle treader. Sides of cover read, FRANK KRAUS, Los Angeles, 36. Other side reads, Made in West Germany. Brand new unused and original. NOS, New original Stock. Thanks for stopping by Blue Ridge Antiques and Collectibles.  This is a Childs Sewing Machine dated to the 1920's by the HOGE Mfg. Co. Titled LITTLE PRINCESS, #325. This is the only information we can find on the HOGE. Begun exclusively as a German toy sewing machine distributor on October 3, 1923, Bayerische Nähmaschinen Fabrik (BNF), located in Furth and Nürnberg was from the outset in serious competition with other well-established TSM makers such as Casige, Muller, Bing and Ernst Plank. Since BNF's operations were housed in only a single room, it's believed that it did not manufacture their own toys, but rather simply acted as a distributor. It's not known if more than one manufacturer supplied BNF ... nor is it known who really produced their toys. Within a few short years BNF was able to market 14 different models that are among some of the most collectible of all TSM's. BNF's offering included traditional looking sheet metal toys as well as 4 sizes of cast iron beauties identified as Models 17, 18, 19, and 20. In addition this creative toy company sold 3 versions of a design that some collectors have dubbed the "skeleton" machine ... Model 14 is one of those skinless skeletons. BNF also produced a very rare child's treadle designated as Model 11. Unfortunately because of Germany's deep depression and the continued success of BNF's competitors, the company was forced to close its doors in 1927. An interesting side note is that the last plant manager of BNF was none other than Heinrich Keller who went on to establish another famous toy making company of his own......... The Machine is in VERY GOOD condition with all original paint. Some rust on the metal parts. Operated perfect but needs a new needle. Machine measures 7 1/2 inches long by 7 inches high. Patterns showing right and wrong & all types of pattern stitches -A Sewers necessity magazine  Beautiful treen pin cushion - I think is burl wood, nice flared shape, with a cloth cushion and felt bottom.  This is a beautiful chalk doll pin cushion. Skirt has lavendar ribbon around it in three layers, against a green, faded to grey, skirt. Doll has been badly repaired, but a small pearl necklace on her and you won't notice! Her expression is beautiful, her hair styled up on her head and flowers in her gloved arms. Paint is peeling - as shown in pics. Very romantic, nostalgic looking piece.  Marked: Berlin, Made in Germany, US Zone. Wonderful red sewing maching - was my own - I put a battery in and it did not work, might be just a wire. Has lost a little paint in front - see picture. No needle, but thread stays. All parts are there as far as I can see. The nut that holds the thread in, the tension. Wheel turns easily. Very sturdy toy.
