This is probably the coolest needle book or folder I have ever seen. I have taken pictures of all sides to show the cool rocket to space design of the 1940-50 era. Most of the needles are there and the inside is clean and bright.  A vintage yarn winder in very good, usable condition. Clamp on a table and turn the crank by the wood handle and wind the yarn on the wood spindle or spool. Made of cast iron and has a good belt. The spindle measures 5.5 in. The cast iron is marked #299. Measures 8.5 in. wide. Display or use as intended.  Great color in the Bakelite handle of butterscotch with browns. Measures a total of 6 inches, Bakelite handle is 2-3/4 inches, and perfect. Metal area has some corrosion, and needs cleaning, wheel turns well. Offered is a very nice collection of early Thimbles. About half are marked Sterling. The other half although not marked I believe some if not many of these are Sterling as well. They are all different sizes. Some have more design to them then others including one with Cherubs others with Floral designs, etc., etc. The one of particular interest to me has gold tone to the lower half and is possibly gold but I'm just not 100% certain. Overall condition of these is very good. Some do have a monogram or incised name and a couple I do notice pin prick

holes at the top. If additional photos are needed please let me know. Thimbles would make a fine addition to anyone starting a collection or adding to their existing collection. Buyer to pay $10 for shipping & insurance within the U.S.

Home made with machine, older apron in pinks with a floral rose pattern material that is decoration for the pocket, hem, waistband, and the tip of the tie strings. Small stain on the hem area, and the shear material shows some stress on the tie strings, from being tied over and over in all the years. I’d guess this about 1950’s era. Measures 23-½ inches length at center, waistband is 18 inches by 2 inches and the tie strings are 28 inches.  An older apron, with a bib and top trim. Measures 28 inches at the center in length and 21-½ inches width at the tie area and 34 inches width near the bottom.
