Blumenthal Co. Inc. made in Thailand. There are a total of 32 buttons in this lot in navy blue and charcoal in a nice variety of types and sizes. Note that the cards are not in good shape and may have been damp at some time. They are sold just as found so be sure to view all pictures. Still a great find.  This lot of 6 blazer style buttons is in MINT, never used condition. The very ornate buttons measure 1 1/16th inches in diameter and have a U shaped Metal shank on the back. They are one piece pressed metal - pewter I would bet. The back of the card is marked MADE IN AUSTRIA.  Button Lot of 10 sets on the cards. Nice sets are marked made in Thailand and the white set is marked made in U.S.A. All 10 sets are marked LeChic made for B.Blumenthal & Co. They are in MINT condition with a lightly carved design and satin finish.  This set of 6 two hole sew thru buttons have an open pinwheel design. They are in Mint condition on their original card and measure 3/4 inches in diameter.  This one piece carved lucite button has a round wire shank on the back. It measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter and the carving on the front reminds me of the Chrysler emblem.

It measures 1 1/4 inches tall and wide and is in excellent condition.  This Beautiful carved bone ivory button is in excellent condition. It is molded to resemble stacked wood.  This 1 3/8ths inch in diameter Bakelite button is a two hole sew thru in excellent condition.  This very cool lucite button is perfect on one side with a series of tiny indentations on the other. It is a two hole sew thru measuring 1 5/8ths inches by 1 3/16ths inches. It has a striped appearance.

This gorgeous piece of bakelite is a very three dimensional button and in excellent condition. It measures 1 7/8ths inches in diameter and 5/8ths inches high. It has a plastic applied U shaped shank on the back.  This card has 9 vintage dark green plastic buttons has an old Fanaro's store sticker that closed in the early 1980s.  These 10 blue buttons are still on their orig. cards which are not full. These 4 yellow buttons still on their original card from the long gone Grants Five and Dime store are 3/4".  This interesting carved baklite piece could be used for many things. What it was originally, I am just guessing. There are drilled holes on the back where metal pins were probably inserted to hold the bakelite piece in place. It could be glued to a backing as well. The piece measures 2 inches in diameter and passes the smell test with flying colors. You just have to look at it to know it is real vintage bakelite.  These gorgeous buttons are perfect but they are so beautiful. The 1 3/8ths diameter buttons are silvertone metal with jeweler set jewel quality rhinestones. The inside is a pearlized button which does show some light flaking. The silvertone metal is in excellent condition as are the rhinestones. There is large loop on the back.  These pretty rhinestone and glass pearl buttons are in excellent condition. They measure 15/16ths inches in diameter and are mounted in goldtone metal with a metal loop shank.
