This button is a two piece brass button with a silver collet. There is a metal back and U shaped wire shank. It measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter.  This button measures a full 1 7/8ths inches in diameter. I have seen this one in a variety of sizes but never quite this big. It has a brass back with a crescent silver moon liner with the figures of Pierot and Pierette.  This beautiful one piece domed button is made in copper. It measures 1 3/8ths inches in diameter. The back has a raised round self shank.  These one piece glass buttons are molded in clear glass with a white satin colored luster on top. They measure 3/4 of an inch in diameter and have a raised self shank. These buttons appear to be in excellent condition.

These four buttons have a bakelite backing and a metal buckle front. They measure 3/4 of an inch tall and have an applied plastic U shaped shank. They do show some verdi gris on the metal buckles.  This geometric red bakelite bar button measures 1 3/4 inches long. It is a one piece button with a self shank. It is in great condition.  You can buy this button separately or with two of its compatriots. The neat bakelite button measures 1 7/8ths inches tall and 1 1/8th inches wide. It has an applied Rounded U shaped Bakelite shank.  This big button measures nearly 1 3/4 inches tall. It is a one piece slightly domed celluloid button with the neatest basketweave design.

This Striped Celluloid button is a bit misshapen. But I loved the marbled swirls to the celluloid. The button is a two hole sew thru and measures 1 1/8th inches in diameter. It is a two piece button.  This Three dimensional oval button is made of layered wood and is quite a beauty. It measures 1 3/8th inches tall and is in Excellent condition. It has a an applied clear plastic plate and U shaped shank on the back.  This clear round lucite button has an embedded golden lion shield. It is a full 2 inches in diameter with a round brass wire shank.  This wonderful set of red and lustered white buttons are mint on their original card. They measure 11/16ths of an inch in diameter and are four hole sew thrus.

This great old buckle measures 3 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. It is in excellent condition and is marked, GERMANY, on the back.  These four buttons are purple plastic moonglows measuring 5/8ths of an inch in diameter. They look new - never used and have a plastic U shaped shank on the back.  This card of mint vintage buttons is the neatest set of 6 red and white marbled plastic buttons. They are four hole sew thrus and measure 5/8th of an inch in diameter.  This center escutcheon type button features a steel floral center and measures 5/8ths inches in diameter. It has a brass round wire shank on the back.

Tiny Metal Floral Escutcheon Type Button $5.00
This lustered black glass button depicts the old mill scene. It measures 11/16ths of an inch in diameter. There is a heavy brass round shank on the back. There are a few very tiny nicks on the bottom edge but the top seems to be perfect.  This silver metal button measures 1 1/4 inch in diameter. It has an applied metal shank and shank plate and is made with chromed metal. It does show some wear to its chrome.  This molded celluloid two hole sew thru button measures 1 3/8ths inches in diameter. With its yellow and black Art Deco design, it is indeed striking!  LARGE VINTAGE BAKELITE APPLE JUICE BALL BUTTON. DRILLED HOLE. 3/4in WIDE. HAS AIR BUBBLES AND SOME USE AGE SCRATCHES.

These are more modern pierced metal buttons. They are a one piece with U shaped wire shank. The diameter is 13/16ths of an inch. These are mint on their original card.  This wonderful brown carved lucite hook measures 2 3/8ths inches wide and 2 inches tall. It is in great shape with a round metal wire shank for attaching to a garment.  This guy is still on his original card. He measures 1 3/8ths inches in diameter and is a two hole sew thru.  These old buttons were part of a lot I purchased at auction. I was amazed that so many of the buttons were on their original cards. These 4 buttons are white moonglow plastics measuring 3/4 of an inch in diameter. They are two hole sew thrus.

They are on their original card.  These two hole sew thru buttons are lustrous ocean pearl from Luckyday. They are on their originial card and are in great condition. The buttons measure 5/8ths of an inch in diameter.  This little dear measures all of 1/2 inch tall. She is a one piece plastic with an attached U shaped shank.  This big shiny golden metal button measures 1 3/8ths inches in diameter. It is a two piece domed button with a self shank on the back. There is a tiny white rhinestone accent in the center.

This one piece pierced metal button measures 1 1/8th inches in diameter. It has a U shaped wire shank on the back.  This two piece stamped brass button features a lion and a coat of armour. The back is painted metal with a round wire shank. The button measures 11/16ths of an inch in diameter.  This two piece stamped brass button features a wonderful Art Deco Type Geometric design. The back is metal with a raised self shank. The button measures 1/2 of an inch in diameter.  This one piece stamped silver metal button is a two hole sew thru featuring a cowboy and a bucking bronc. It measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

This domed button looks like it was on a uniform. It is two piece stamped brass button with a lyre on the front. The back is metal with the words, SCOVILL MFG CO, WATERBURY. The button measures 13/16ths of an inch in diameter. There is a round brass shank on the back.  This pretty stamped brass button has a metal back and turned over edges. The wire shank is round and the button measures 9/16ths of an inch in diameter. The cornucopia is filled with flowers.  These two golden head buttons are smaller in size. The larger of the two measures 9/16ths of an inch and is a two piece stamped brass button with a metal back and round wire shank. The smaller button is a one piece metal with a U shaped shank. It measures 1/2 inch.  This neat button measures 5/8ths of an inch in diameter. It is a stamped brass escutcheon with a brass wire shank.

This neat button comes in a variety of sizes. This one measures 11/16ths of an inch in diameter. The back is brass and the front is tinted silver. The back has a self shank.  These two buttons turned up in a bag of sewing items I purchased. The Greek soldier measures 7/8ths of an inch in diameter. He is a one piece metal button with a raised U shank. the smaller, Roman soldier measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter. This one is a two piece metal with a round raised self shank on the back.  These three metal buttons are a nice lot of silhouettes. The largest button is a 2 piece stamped brass top, metal back measuring 7/8ths of an inch in diameter. It has a wire shank. the middle sized button measures 3/4 of an inch and is a two piece stamped silver metal top, metal back. The shank is a wire U shank. The smallest button is 1 piece metal with an attached U shaped shank. It measures 5/8ths of an inch.  This one piece etched and tinted brass button has the neatest sea monster on it. The domed button measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter with a one piece metal applied u shaped shank.

VICTORIAN BLACK GLASS BUTTON WITH INCISED PATTERN AND SCALLOPED EDGE. BRASS LOOP SHANK WAS INSERTED WHILE GLASS WAS HOT. 7/8in WIDE. HAS SOME SURFACE WEAR SCRATCHES AND TEENY FLEABITES.  These two buttons are beauties. They are newer and measure 13/16ths of an inch in diameter. They has a U shaped metal shank on the back  These little shiny metal 1 piece buttons depict the head of Napolean. They measure 5/8ths of an inch in diameter and have a self U shaped metal shank.  This beauty measures 11/16ths of an inch in diameter. It has a brass plate and round brass wire shank. The button is in great condition.

This cute combination came together in an old lot I purchased. The hound dog measures 1/2 inch tall and the elephant is 5/8ths inches tall. Both are plastic with U shaped shanks.  This fun gingham check plastic chicken is sitting on a flower pot. The button is a 2 hole sew thru and measures 3/4 of an inch tall.  This grouping of 4 older plastic buttons has the cutest little bows. The largest of which measures 1/2 inch tall and 5/8ths inches wide. The black ditto button measures 1/2 inch tall.  These three buttons came together in the same lot of buttons. The crossed guns and the anchor are plastic. The doorknocker is metal. The guns measure 1/2 inch tall and 13/16ths of an inch wide. The anchor is 5/8ths of an inch tall. The doorknocker is 15/16ths of an inch tall. All three have u Shaped shanks on the back

The largest, the pearlized flower measures 3/4 of an inch.  These 1 piece metal bow buttons measure 7/8ths of an inch tall and 3/4 of an inch wide. You are getting all three for one price.  This fun newer button measures 1 3/8ths inches tall. It is a well articulated button with handpainted accents. The button has a u shaped plastic shank on the back.  This sweet brass metal button is a rendition of a tic tac toe board. It is small measuring 7/16ths of an inch tall. It has a U shaped metal shank on the back.

The buttons were imported from Italy and measure 7/8ths of an inch. They are two hole sew thrus.  These three very dark blue and sky blue plastic buttons have a great design. They measure 5/8ths of an inch tall and are mint on their original card. These buttons were imported from Italy.  Nice shell or mother of pearl carved button. In very nice condition. Measures 1 5/16" in diameter.  Nicely carved mother of pearl or shell button that measures 1 1/2" in diameter. A nice pearlized white color, in very good condition.

Condition is good with a tiny crack at the edge of the smaller green one.  Great white background with blue design calico button that measures 7 1/6" in diameter. Color is very good and condition is excellent.  Nice large art deco celluloid tight top button over metal. Measures 1 3/8" in diameter. Condition is very good with a little loss of paint of the metal back and very light scratching.  This large celluloid tight top button over metal measures 1 7/8" in diameter and is 3/16" thick. The color and design are wonderful and condition is excellent.
