Vintage World's Fair New York 1964-1965 Postcard, not used, in good condition  This political/historical glass mug features a bust of Columbus on one side and a bust of Washington on the other. These were made c.1893-94. Some of these mugs were marked for the Columbian Exposition, however this one is not marked.  It measures 2 7/16" d x 2 5/8" h. Excellent condition.  (#5440)

 A great vintage full page original magazine ad for Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island with a terrific image.  This is an ad put out by Californians Inc.  Nice piece. Piece measures approximately 6 1/2" x 9 1/2".   Condition: EXCELLENT. Certificate of Authenticity is provided showing this piece to be from an original magazine (not a copy).  Royal Order of the Moose Centennial, Souvenir Coffee Mug or Coffee Cup comerating Canadian Centennial in 1967.  Made by Hycraft, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.  Trimmed in 22 K Gold.  Front has a 22 K gold moose with black accents and a banner below the moose that reads Medicine Hat, ALTA.  A red circle around the moose had black lettering No 1073, Loyal Order Of Moose, Women of the Moose No. 300.  Back has a tricolored maple leaf design , Canada Centennial and 1867-1967.  3 3/4 inches tall and the rim is 3 inches.  No chips cracks, crazing or repairs. Paint is in beautiful condition.

Canada's Centennial Souvenir Coffee Mug $15.00

This is a pair of souvenir spoons from the Chicago Worlds Fair - both are 5 7/8: long.  One is dated 1934 and says "Official A Century of Progress Chicago 1933".  The back says "Silverplate Green Duck Co. Chicago" and has a skyscraper on the band.  The other spoon says "A Century of Progress 1933" and the handle says "Clara LU ' N' Em.  The handle shows a picture of the Science Court. and is marked Winthrop silverplate.  (#2188)

 The handle on this demitasse spoon has a knight carrying a lance.  Inside his armor, Paris is inscribed.  This has a gold washed bowl (and back of bowl).  The bowl is hallmarked in two places (unreadable to me). Condition is nice. (#346A)

 This is a pair of demitasse spoons, both are gold washed and both are marked US Sterling on the back.  These were made as commemorative memorabilia for the Columbian Exposition of 1892 - 1893.  The handles of both spoons are the same - they have Columbus with a sword in one hand and a flag in the other.  Has a Columbus banner underneath this - and going down the spoon handle there is a sailing ship, a date of 1492, and then a flower and leaf design descending to the bowl.  The bowls are as follows:  one says "World's Fair City", the other says "Fisheries Building". They are in moderately good condition - no dents, some wear to the gold wash. (#378)

PRINTED in the U.S.A. by THE GEOGRAPHICAL PUBLISHING COMPANY of CHICAGO and copyright date 1933.  The BOOKLET is called CHICAGO AND HER 2 WORLDS FAIRS and depicts A CENTURY OF PROGRESS 1893 - 1933.  It has PHOTOGRAPHS from various sources, including the CHICAGO ARCHITECTURAL PHOTO COMPANY, the CHICAGO HISTORICAL SOCIETY, the CHICAGO DAILY NEWS, KAUFMANN & FABRY, and the CHICAGO ART INSTITUTE.


It's COVER and BACK is made of a LEATHER COMPOSITION of the time and it's condition is very sensitive.  We will rate it's CONDITION as FAIR.


The INSIDE PHOTOS and WRITTEN MATERIAL and PAGES are in EXCELLENT CONDITION.


A very intriguing piece of history to own and very scarce on the market.

  This heavy metal key is from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and is 8 1/2 inches long. Please see photo - one of the teeth on the key is no longer present. Shipping is an additional $5.00 within the continental U.S.  This Expo '67 (1967) Porcelain Coffee Mug by Tams, England has a gold paint border around the rim and pictures Montreal in the center with the Canadian flag, surrounded by the different countries represented at the Expo. The bottom of the mug is marked "Tams England" in relief, and "Expo 67 copyright" in gold paint. This clear glass bank, with original slotted tin lid, measures 3 5/8" in height and 3 1/2" across the base.  There is a shallow 1/4" chip at the top of the molded glass threading.  


In an effort to squeeze as many words as possible on this bank, the maker's wrote "LEV. XXVXX". Also on the bank "Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof".  Just below that is "By order of the Assembly of the Province of PENNA. for the Statehouse in the Philada".  The words "Pass and Stow" appear near the molded crack - under that "Philad. a" and under that "MDCCLIII".  On the base are the words "Design patent pending" - in the center of the base there are two number "184" and "7". Probably circa 1876.

 This has a 4" diameter and is 4 3/8" high.  There is scrollwork and stippling on the inside top.  It says 1776 and "Liberty".  The back of hangar is marked "Pat Applied For". This is a nice light amber in color.  This has a perfect slot in the top.  The bottom has a small chip - the bottom closure is missing.  Probably made for the Philadelphia Centennial - circa 1896.  This fabulous ribbon measures 7 1/4" long by 2 1/2" wide.  This is a souvenir of the Worlds Columbian Exposition of 1892, in Chicago.  It appears that at one time there may have been a sticker in the center of the ribbon, below the words "America 1492".  There is no glue residue, but something was there.  There are no tears, holes, or pulls to the silk, which remains in excellent condition.  Colors are still very vibrant.  (#950A)

 Made for the 1892 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, this is a frosted glass cup and saucer - one of many flower designs made by Libbey.  There are no impressed markings on either the cup or the saucer.  Remnants of gold lettering remain on both pieces.  The saucer could be a pansy - not quite sure.  Condition is excellent. (#3251)

Made for the 1892-3 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, this is a frosted glass cup and saucer - one of many flower designs made by Libbey.  Bottom of the saucer, in the center, is impressed with "1893" surrounded by "World Columbia Exposition".  Saucer is perfect, with three visible bubbles between the layers of glass.  The cup has one point missing with a 1/4" circular chip,and a 1/8" chip on the bottom rim of the cup. (3794)

 This is rare piece of milk glass, in the Viking pattern.  The bottom is marked "Patent Shaving Mug July 16, 1867".  There is a Viking surrounded by beads, done in very high relief.  Impressed around the rest of the mug, is a laurel wreath. Made by Hobbs Bruckunier. Excellent condition. (#4625)

 This green glass Liberty Bell candy container was made by the Westmoreland Glass Company, circa 1920.  Of the 6 nubby protrusions at the top, three are in tact and three are broken off.  The bell is marked "Liberty Bell".  In the center of the hanger area it is marked "Patent Apld For". Perfect except for the nubs as noted above. (H159)

 A molded patent medicine bottle, this is 6 1/4" in length.  This features a half figure of Christopher Columbus, holding a globe, with a ruffle around his collar.  The flask, on the other side, has a clear oval medallion.  A Columbian Exposition, 1892 - 1893 piece.  This is in mint condition. (#4229)

The best Chicago 1892-3 Columbia Exposition spoon you have ever seen! This is so highly detailed, it is GORGEOUS, the bowl having a scene with Columbus &the King & Queen in Barcelona 1493. The detailing is exquisite, there is a beautiful hound which is totally detailed, the background you can make out the carved paneling, never mind the 3 central figures, its just a work of art. Along the handle it has a globe, eagle and the Columbia palace with 1892-3. The back of the handle has a highly detailed scene of the Santa Maria, and I mean detailed! This exceptionally fine souvenir spoon is to be cherished, its in excellent condition and measures about 6 inches. 'Here is the loveliness of bountiful nature, assembled and crystalized at San Diego's Exposition Beautiful.' Ten full page pictures in color and 10 pages in black and white, of scenes of the Spanish California archetecture used in the San Diego Panama  California Exposition. 'San Diego is nearer to the Panama Canal than any other Pacific Coast port.' 


A soft cover, with raised embossed lettering tinted in green and gilt, and a panorama of the Exposition, 13-1/4 x 9 inches, 24 pages. Pages are tied together with a gold cord. 


Corners of cover are slightly bumped. Slight darkening along lower edge of front cover. One small smudge on back. Two small (1/4 inch wide by 1/2 and 1 inch) spots of paper have pulled off the back page and stuck to the inside back cover. Very Good + condition

This 1982 World’s Fair china souvenir bell comes from the Knoxville TN 1982 World's Fair.  Bell has working a clapper and depicts the world’s fair held there in 1982.  China bell measures 3-1/2” tall.  Bell are in Excellent Condition with no chips.  This COLLECTOR SPOON was made for the SEATTLE WORLDS FAIR.


It was made in 1967 and the copyright date is 1961 by CENTURY 21 EXPOSITION, Inc.  


The stem is embossed with a picture of the SPACE NEEDLE and the words Seattle Worlds Fair and the numbers 21.  The bowl is plain.


The condition is ESTATE / USED for display.

COLLECTIBLE SPOON CENTURY 21 SEATTLE WOR $12.00

This SILVER PLATED COLLECTOR SPOON was made in 1933 for the CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR-A CENTURY OF PROGRESS.  It depicts CHICAGO'S FORT DEARBORN.  


It is decorated from top to bottom with the words A CENTURY OF PROGRESS 1933 on the handle, CHICAGO down the stem, and is EMBOSSED with a picture of FORT DEARBORN on the bowl of the spoon.


It is MARKED ONEIDA COMMUNITY PAR PLATE on the back of the stem.


The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED.  This spoon is a collector spoon and was used for display purposes only.
