Hand painted fine porcelain. The pot holds about 2-4 cups. The mark is the "beehive" mark first used in Vienna in the late 18th century, by the Royal and Imperial Manufactory of Vienna. It was widely used and copied by other companies. Many were very fine, although the mark was often used to deceive.

Nevertheless, this is a lovely well done porcelain set in excellent condition.   This is a fabulous English ironstone large 4-6 cup or 36 oz teapot with a pretty design of apple blossoms with gold trim. The teapot was made by Ellgreave, a division of Wood and Sons, Staffordshire England in the 1950s. A teapot in a glossy brown glaze with a white foam or drip trim. I think the bottom is marked Pfaltzgraff. Very hard to read. Measures 5 in. tall and 5.5 in. diameter. About a 4 cup size. No chips, nicks, cracks. Like new condition.   Unmarked teapot done in a brown sea foam drip color. Clay is a light brown almost tan. It is in excellent condition and stands 5 ½" tall by 7 ¼" wide.

Wedgwood Porcelain Teapot - Rare find! Imari (Japanese) style flower motif. Beautiful white porcelain decorated with cobalt blue, fuchsia, pink, green, and rust. Heavy gold trim. Base pot is 3" high, with handle 5-1/2" tall. Almost 6" in diameter plus spout. I do not see any damage. I believe the marks are genuine and indicate Circa 1883. The Portland Vase (Urn) Mark with WEDGWOOD under used 1878-1890. No ENGLAND Mark which was added in 1891 and no 3 Stars Mark which was added in 1900. Hand painted mark y1123 indicates made in May 1883.  This is a super vintage English art deco ceramic teapot that bears the registry date for 1937. It is a figural teapot in the shape of a lady in a crinoline and bears the under glaze inscribed name Ye Daintee Ladyee. The lady is like a half doll with hand painted accents and the teapot is an all over peach color. There is no maker's name but is usually attributed to early Sadler. An identical one in green is in the Twinings Teapot Museum and Norfolk Decorative Art Museum, both in England. Newer copies have no faces and are more crudely made and marked differently. The teapot is in excellent condition with the only flaws being a couple of pinpricks done in manufacture, and a slight paling of the peach under the glaze at the front of the skirt. It has a wonderful locking design to secure the teapot lid that is different from any I've seen. Very collectible as well as a great tea table accent.
