NO HOLES/NO ROT/NO RUST and has been a private collection for the past 60 years. This piece is either molded zinc or galvanized metal. Most likely made in the mid-1800’s adorning a Greek Revival building and can be used as a DOORWAY HEADER or as a Garden ornament in your beautiful flowered garden. Attributed to the FISKE FOUNDRY that mostly created building ornaments back in the mid-1800’s. SIZE….34 inches high-12 inches deep-18 inches wide  RARE Set of four matching Chinese carved paneled interiror wood doors with open carving detail. These matching doors are early, dating from the 17th-18th century. Each door was carved by hand carved and measures 20 inches wide by 83.25 inches high and 2.25 inches thick. Of the four doors two have bats carved into them, one has clouds and the other with peach blossoms. Superb carving detail. The condition of all the doors is quite good with a smaill repair on the side of one door. These doors where most probably stained with a colored wash at one time. Pair hand wrought Yale University dorm andirons c1900. This pair of andirons are reproductions of gooseneck andirons from the 18th century. The were hand made by a local blacksmith for Yale University in New Haven Connecticut to be used in one of their dorms. Late in the 20th century the fireplaces were no longer used and this pair along with others were sold. The Y symbol for Yale is impressed on the firedogs, or log rails. This surround measures 48 inches wide outside, 43.5 inches inside, 10 inches high at the tallest point, 12 inches deep outside and 9.75 inches inside. This is a very high quality fender made from heavy solid brass with a cast iron insert. These extraordinary andirons were forged by a master from 1.25 inch thick iron bars.The dragons are mounted with bronze fleurs-de-lis, faces, and eyes. Each andiron weighs 29 pounds, and measures 28.5 inches high x 13.5 inches wide x 25 inches deep. Excellent original estate condition. Please Note: We have seen cheap reproductions of this type of andiron, but they pale in comparison. This kind of design quality, weight and craftsmanship are very difficult to duplicated today.
