Salterini wrought iron Neva rust  bakers rack display. This wonderful piece of Salterini furniture measures 65 inches high. The first shelf measures 36 and one half inches wide by 16 and one half inches deep. It is 32 and three quarter inches off the ground. The space to the next shelf is 13 and one half inches. Mottled violet mauve with a soupcon of appricot and cream with a tracery of brown veins. One marble has a old line use crack but it does not effect the piece which is held with a brass frame. Strikes on the quarter, half and hour. Eight day. The sailboat in the top of the movement rocks back and forth as the clock ticks. We just had this clock cleaned so it runs well. English leather and mahogany desk arm chair c1820. This is a period Georgian leather chair in solid mahogany. The leather is in excellent condition and so is the chair. This antique desk or side chair is quite comfortable and strong. There are some wear marks on the back side of the leg  that prove its age. The over all measurements of this chair are 25 inches wide by 20 inches deep, 34 and one half to the top of the back and 27 inches to the top of the arms. Shipping extra. This bench was completely hand made from wide walnut boards with hand wrought iron base braces. This is a true copy of a 16th century Spanish bench. This drop front Chippendale writing desk measures 39 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 32 inches to the writing surface and 43 and one half inches high. The inside writing surface is 22 inches when the 14 and one half inch lid is down. There are six small drawers along with one large drawer across the top. There is also a interior compartment with door that opens to reveal a small drawer, storage and a secret drawer. Made from fine rich mahogany. This desk comes apart in two pieces. A top with the drop lid and the bottom with two drawers on four legs ending in hand carved ball and claw feet. Condition. There are some minor old repairs to the case here and there and the drop lid has a slight warp, which is to expected from a piece from this time period. Hand made by a local master craftsman that has agreed to painstakingly make hand made tables in the early American 18th century manner. These are tables who's size and quality and design we can just not find in our daily searches for fine antiques. They are made by hand with antique block planes which give that lovely hand hewed look. Each tables size is determined by the size of the 18th century board we find, no two will be the same. Early boards have the most beautiful deep rich patina which simply can not be duplicated with new boards. The top board retains all its original wear and old marks which gives it the true period look that is the most desirable. This table measures 65 inches long, 20 inches deep,and 29 inches high.
