Salterini wrought iron Neva rust bakers rack display. This wonderful piece of Salterini furniture measures 65 inches high. The first shelf measures 36 and one half inches wide by 16 and one half inches deep. It is 32 and three quarter inches off the ground. The space to the next shelf is 13 and one half inches. This file credenza was made from solid teak and teak veneers and is finished on both sides so it could be used in the middle of a room. Measures 72 inches long by 20 inches deep and 26 inches high. Strikes on the quarter, half and hour. Eight day. The sailboat in the top of the movement rocks back and forth as the clock ticks. We just had this clock cleaned so it runs well. English leather and mahogany desk arm chair c1820. This is a period Georgian leather chair in solid mahogany. The leather is in excellent condition and so is the chair. This antique desk or side chair is quite comfortable and strong. There are some wear marks on the back side of the leg that prove its age. This drop front Chippendale writing desk measures 39 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 32 inches to the writing surface and 43 and one half inches high. The inside writing surface is 22 inches when the 14 and one half inch lid is down. There are six small drawers along with one large drawer across the top. There is also a interior compartment with door that opens to reveal a small drawer, storage and a secret drawer. Made from fine rich mahogany. This desk comes apart in two pieces. A top with the drop lid and the bottom with two drawers on four legs ending in hand carved ball and claw feet. Condition. There are some minor old repairs to the case here and there and the drop lid has a slight warp, which is to expected from a piece from this time period. Hand made by a local master craftsman that has agreed to painstakingly make hand made tables in the early American 18th century manner. These are tables who's size and quality and design we can just not find in our daily searches for fine antiques. They are made by hand with antique block planes which give that lovely hand hewed look. Each tables size is determined by the size of the 18th century board we find, no two will be the same. Early boards have the most beautiful deep rich patina which simply can not be duplicated with new boards.
