Spectacular Pair of Bronze ormolu & marble "griotte" Urns by H. Picard. The 3 draped women standing back to back figure is close to the "The Three Graces", a well known renaissance sculpture by Germain Pilon (now at the Louvre Museum). Henri Picard was based in Paris from 1831-1864. The firm supplied services for the work on the apartments of the Emperor Napoleon III now in the Louvre. $35,000 EA  Beautiful French Bronze Coupe Bowl c. 1890  Spectacular Bronze Empire style center piece.  Fabulous Bronze Art Deco "Walking Panther" on marble base and signed R. Bugatti. This is a recast of an original Rembrandt Bugatti(1884-1916)panther. He is well known for his interesting interpretation animals. In his most famous of his works, sculpted in 1904, bugatti depicts the panther in such a way to capture the panther's coiled tension. Although it walks casually it is ready to spring into action at any moment. Every sinious curve of the big cat is accurately shown. This is a limited edition of 100.

Fabulous pair of 19th C. French figural Dore' Bronze andirons.  AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE "HANS MULLER Hans Muller was born in Vienna Austria 1873. Although he is best known for his portraits and busts , he modeled a few and rare animal sculptures mostly of hunting dogs….PUBLIC RECORD…Some of his pieces have reached major auctions throughout the world. His work is on display in A Museum in Bucharest, Hungary….. This is a sculpture by the listed Austrian artist Hans Muller. This piece is finished in a gilt patina and is mounted on a 9 ½ inch by 5 ½ inch by 1 1/4" thick highly figured red marble base. It was probably cast around the turn of the century by a Vienna foundry and is signed H. Muller on the reverse side. Breathtaking 85"tall monumental bronze statue, titled "Gloria Victis", the winged figure of Victory, who supports the fallen warrior still carrying his broken sword. The original plaster model was exhibited at the Paris Salon of 1874, winning the Medaille d Honneur, and later cast in bronze by Barbedienne. It was cast in this large size in a very limited edition and is no longer available. Several other sizes come up for auction, but none this large.  Pair of cast bronze lions, magnificent in scale and detail.
