The mother is dressed in a long full light blue dress with lace and satin dresses are hand-tailored and trimmed with satin and lace trim. The little girl has on a long pink simpler dress. Both are very detailed in the way their hands are molded to fit together naturally. The mother is holding her daughters hands and walking slowly behind her as they make the few steps across the room. The mother is 16 inches tall and the little girl is 8 inches tall. These are the first dolls of renowned artist Sandra Kuck. They were produced by the Reco International and handcrafted under the respected hallmark of the W.S. George China Company. This set was purchased in 1989. The dolls were only taken out of the box one time in order to take the photo for the ad. They are numbered of a limited edition that ended December 31, 1990. The mother doll bears the number and signature of the artist in porcelain. Original purchase price $250.00. Loving Steps is one in a series of four of Sandra Kuck's ~Precious Memories of Motherhood Collection~ Pictures cannot do justice to this entire series.
