McKee Custard Canister Lid $24.00

This Canister was made by Anchor Hocking and is very hard to find. It is part of a set of 4 that were made in Primary Colors. This Canister is 5" tall and 5" round and is made of white milk glass with the red orange fired on exterior paint. The Lid is black plastic and screws on. The Canister is in excellent condition and the Lid is very good with a few scratches when you put it in bright light to look for them. The label is paper and could be removed with warm water and adhesive remover if desired. There is light shelf wear on the bottom of the Canister from moving it around on a counter surface. The Canister Set has been shown on several cooking shows on the Food Network and gained notariety there. I have only had one Set to offer in many years- that is how scarce it is. So, if you are trying to put together a set, you might want to grab this one. Nice lustrous pretty much toning-free Choice BU or better coin from an original Brilliant Uncirculated Roll. Nice lustrous pretty much toning-free Choice BU or better coin from an original Brilliant Uncirculated Roll. Earlier Proof Quarters with even Moderate CAMEO (CAM) frosting on both the obverse and the reverse can be quite scarce and 1956 is no exception. Nice lustrous, attractively toned Choice BU (MS63) to Near Gem BU (MS64) coin from an original roll (since Ike Dollars were not included in US Mint Sets in 1971 & 1972). Ike Dollars from 1971-PD & 1972-PD are generally butt ugly coins littered with bag marks, hampered by weak strikes and subdued luster. However, we have a few naturally toned beauties from an original roll of better looking 1972 specimens that are much better than typical for this date being attractively toned and limited in bag marks. Unfortunately, our camera does not pick up the outstanding eye appeal.
