Written by Louis Storino and published by Schiffer in 1995, this extremely interesting and hard to find reference  book lifts the veil on a fascination subcategory of tobacciana collecting, that of the chewing tobacco tin tags from the 1870-1930 period. 208 page, 103 pages in color. The patterns and prices included are intended to represent those popular and requested by collectors.


My notes:  This book was one of the last to be produced with data before ebay and the Internet transformed glass collecting in the United States. Thus, it is a fascinating historical perspective on glass prices prior to the leveling of market provided by ebay.  This Christmas Collectibles book was written by Margaret and Ken Whitmyer in 1987, 224 pages, full color pages,  price guide and values in back of book, hard cover, excellent condition, original price $19.95, Collector Books, ISBN 0-89145-337-7  Photo of WWI sized 6 x 3 1/2.  On back it says WAR WAR WAR.  I think this is WWI.  You may have other suggestions.

I think this is 1930's or 1940's book from the prints in it.  Book is in fair condition.  Binding poor.  Fables in book are The Town Rat and Country Rat, The Grasshopper and the Ant, The Wolf and the Lamb, The Crow and the Fox, The Fox and Stork, The Heron.  1934 copyright Whitman Publishing Co, Racine Wisconsin. This is a 2 book set in good condition.  Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll and Illustrated by John Tenniel.  Published by Random House in 1946.  Colored by Fritz Kredel.  The outer binding of the cover for the books has some rough edges.
