Terry Crider started his glasswork in 1976. He is self taught. This studio glass artist has put out a limited amount of work over the past 34 years.

He uses NO MOLDS and his only help has been his wife Donna who is responsible for all the finishing work on the pieces. I had an email from Terry and Donna stating that he doesn't think it would be fair to the collectors to make any of the same things again. They have now decided to make glass again on a limited basis, they are not going to make anything that they have made in the past. In addition, they do not plan on making items as large as this early vase.

He stopped blowing glass around 1990 and didn't start blowing again until 1999. He's a great artist with VERY few early pieces out there. This 9 1/4 inch tall King Tut pattern in white on a yellow base glass vase is in mint condition and is signed and dated on the base... Crider 1979

This Crider 1979 vase is hand blown glass. It is cased in white glass and follows in the tradition of Quezal or Durand glass. It's hard to imagine the amount of work that went into this beautiful, hand made art glass vase.

This beautiful vase stands about 9 1/4 inches high at its highest point . It is a fantastic piece of art glass! It is in very excellent condition.  Terry Crider started his glasswork in 1976. He is self taught. This studio glass artist has put out a limited amount of work over the past 32 years. He uses NO MOLDS and his only help has been his wife Donna who did all the finish work on the pieces. I had an email from Terry and Donna a few years ago stating that he doesn't think it would be fair to the collectors to make any of the same things again. They have decided, if they do make glass again, they are not going to make anything that they have made in the past. He made glass part time from 1988-2000. In 2005, he began again to produce a limited amount of glass. He's a great artist with VERY few early pieces out there. This toothpick or rose bowl is in mint condition and is signed Crider and dated 1985 on the base.

This Crider 1985 amethyst base glass with white applied Kint Tut decoration is in a bulbous base shape with the rim pushed into the glass creating a sort of classic Victorian rose bowl effect. Though it is a little wide to be a classic toothpick holder, it certainly could have been as it is the right height. It's hard to imagine the amount of work that went into this beautiful, hand made toothpick holder.

This little toothpick holder and or rose bowl stands about 2 1/4 inches high and is three inches wide. The opening of the mouth is 1 3/8 inches wide. It is a fantastic piece of American art glass! It is in perfect condition.

I am a long time member and past President (1988) of the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Club. I guarantee the authenticity of this TP. For more info on toothpick holders as a great collectible, visit the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Society web page at (www.nthcs.org)

This Crider 1977 white vertically striped vase is hand blown glass - a purple layer with white pulled stripes all of which is irridized. All the decoration was done by Donna Crider. In this vase there are also V lines between the vertical stripes. I have never seen this particular decoration on another Crider vase to date. It's hard to imagine the amount of work that went into this beautiful, hand made bud vase.

He's a great artist with VERY few early pieces out there. This great early Crider studio vase is in mint condition and is signed but undated on the base. However, stylistically, I would guess this is from the 1977-1980 period of his production based on how the white glass was pulled from the bottom of the vase and large area the white pulled loops take up on the vase.

This Crider undated pulled loops, threaded and irridized purple base glass vase is hand blown.. It has anirridized finish on a base of purple glass. It's hard to imagine the amount of work that went into this beautiful, hand made vase.

This vase stands about 5 inches high. It is a fantastic piece of contemporary collectible glass art! It is in perfect condition. Add it to your Terry Crider collection today.
