The tin has minimal ware. It contains Ginger, which should not be used, as it is old. The Jas. H. Tea & Coffee Co. was established in 1853 in St. Louuis Mo.  Forbes Tea & Coffee Co. Spice Lid. The Lid is painted Red and White, and says Forbes Spices on the top. The Lid is 1 3/8 inches wide. and fits a glass jar. it is in good condition.  Forbes Tea & Coffee co. with Martha Washington Brand Label. This is a cardboard box, with a tin top and bottom. It has a slide opening with pouring holes. it holds 1 ounce and is 3 1/4 inches tall. The condition is fair. There is staining on the front and back, and the colors are faded. This is one of the older tins.  Forbes Ground Turmeric in a Metal Tin with a pull off top. 2 3/4 inches tall. In very good condition. Holds 1 1/2 ounces. The contents are old, and not for use. The Company was established in 1853 in St. Louis, Mo.

Bothe are in very good condition. The bottle is 3 1/2 inches tall, the Box is 3 3/4 inches tall. The contents are too old to be used.  Forbes Pure Orange Extract in a Clear Bottle, with a Red painted metal Lid,. The bottle is in very good condition. Almost 4 inches tall. The Box is 4 inches tall. The top of box is missing a part of the lid. Jas. H. Forbes Tea & Coffee Co. est. 1853 in St. Louis Mo.  Forbes Tea and Coffee Co. produced many items including this item. Green Cake Color. The bottle is clear with a white painted, metal lid. It is in good condition. The Label has some color staining and a small tear. The colors are bright. Almost 4 inches tall. The box has minor ware, and is 4 inches tall.

It holds 1/2 ounces. I don't recommend using contens, as they are old.  Vintage Forbes Spice Brown Glass Bottle with Imitation Rum Flavoring. It has a red metal screw-on Lid. In very good condition. The Label is bright. Almost 3 1/2 inches tall, holds 1/2 fl. oz. Jas. H> Forbes Tea and Spice Co. Established in St. Louis, Mo. 1853  Forbes Spice Onion Salt, in a Bottle, with the Martha Washington Brand Label. The bottle is in very good condition. It has a Hazel Atlas mark on the bottom. The metal lid has some rust, and the label has some ware. 3 1/4 inches high, 1 1/2 ounces. The contents are not usable.  Forbes Tea & Coffee Spice Jar with Leaf Oregano. The glass jar, with black metal lid. is in very good condition, it is partially filled. I do not recommend using the spice as it is old. 3 5/8 inches high- 3/8 ounces.

In good condition, with minimal ware. The colors are still bright. The container is made of tin, with a paper label.  Forbes Cardboard Tin, with metal pull off top. 3 1/4 X 2 1/4 inch. The metal has small spots of rust. The Label is slightly stained. Someone wrote for chili, on the back. Forbes Tea and Spice Co. established in 1853, is no longer in business. The Oregano contents are no longer usable.  Forbes Cardboard Tin, with Metal Top. 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch. The Metal is discolored. The Label has small insect holes on all sides. There is a rip on the back and side. The number 10 is written on back. The original cost of Spice. Forbes Tea and Spice, established in 1853, is no longer in business. The Mustard contents are no longer usable.
