Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: 1950's
Condition: Good+++
Offering this exquisite and dramatic sterling silver set including necklace, bracelt and earrings all with an inlaid abalone Mayan Indian style design. Necklace (part that goes around the neck choker style) is 14" long x 1/2" wide. The front dangle piece is 4" long x 1 1/2" wide. Bracelet is 6 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide. Screw back earrings are 1 1/8" long x 5/8" wide. Bracelet and necklace are marked "Sterling"; earrings are marked "Sterling, Mexico". Good condition on necklace and earrings, no broken pieces. Bracelet has one small piece of abalone missing on the link that clasp locks into. Fortunately it is on the back side, so would not be seen and is not real noticeable. These pieces are solid sterling silver, not hollow, very heavy. I weighed them on a scale - 8 oz of silver. In all my years of collecting jewelry, this is the first set of this kind I have seen. Richness of the silver and the rainbow of colors in the abalone definitely makes a statement when worn!
