Vintage Couroc Roadrunner Round Serving Tray, this piece is one of the harder to find Couroc pieces. It is perfect for serving crackers, sandwiches or cocktails on, Couroc pieces blend perfectly into vintage barware. Couroc of California pieces were the wedding and shower present of choice from 1950's to the 1980's. Couroc was located in Monterey, California and produced many different types and shapes of trays, boxes, ashtrays and glass barware. The company was founded by Guthrie Courvoisier, owner of Courvoisier Galleries in San Francisco in 1948, Courvoisier worked for Disney prior to founding his company. While working for Disney he designed the first commercially available animation cels, these cels are still known as Courvoisier Cels. His wife, Moira Wallace was a designer and was involved in the designing and manufacturing of the Couroc designs, on rare occasions she personally signed her work. Couroc employed many skilled artisans during the early years, the artists carefully arranged bits and pieces of common metal items such as springs, screws, glitter, safety pins and paper clips, shells, corral, woods and coins into a special material called black satin black phenolic. This material is resistant to alcohol and boiling water, but is not dishwasher safe. Couroc's founder died in the 1970's and the company was sold several times before ceasing production in 1990. This tray roadrunner with a wood tone body with white and black colors, gold trim. It is 10 1/2 inches across, in lovely condition, no chips and has the original gold label on the back. All Couroc products are hand inlaid by master craftsmen, using real woods and metal permanently fused into satin black phenolic, resistant to alcohol and boiling water. Please see my other listings for additional pieces of Couroc.

This is the Kodak Ektagraphic III AMT carousel slide projector. Here is a reliable projector that will show your Father's old 35mm slide photos in style. It is a high-quality vintage Kodak machine that is in great condition. It comes with its own 80 slide self feeding gravity drop circular slide tray shown in the photo. This quality Kodak machine also comes with a cord plug-in remote control for moving the slide tray forward, back from a considerable distance. The front center foot is screw adjustable to aim the photo light beam at the desired screen whether it be on a light wall or bed sheet hung on the wall. The electrical plug-in cord stores neatly under the machine, and the light bulb is easily changed by opening its access door on the side of the machine. Bulbs are still available at camera shops and in this store or you can contact me by clicking the CONTACT US button on any item page and I and I will find one for you. There is also a SELECT button on the unit which will allow you to spin the tray around to a certain slide position if desired. The manual focus knob is also located on the main console which moves the lens in and out for best focused picture. This particular unit has AUTO FOCUS which means it will automatically focus all subsequent slides after you focus the first slide of the reel. This unit has the additional feature of switching off auto-focus should you not want to use it for some reason. This machine also has a slide timer which allows the unit to forward slides on its own automatically. This is a great feature. The light switch also has two positions - bright and brighter. This particular projector is also special as it has an Apollo f/3.5 Zoom lens which will allow showing slides at nearly any distance, both closeup and further away. There is also a reading light on the side of the projector that lights up when the main projector lamp is showing slides. This allows you to read from a script to your guests if that is helpful for you. This machine is all you could ever want in a fine slide projector. You can also purchase extra slide trays separately in my store by looking under the Photo & Movie Equipment category. I have several of this model and the panel color might vary from black to gray but all the features are the same and all are operational.
