Part of the Early English History series, designed by John Moyr Smith, ca 1870, produced by Mintons China Works. This is " St. Augustine "- transfer printed dark brown on buff, 6" square. This has a diagonal hairline across the upper right corner which does not go through to the back of the tile. (#1953)
