Diamond Optic is one of those patterns that Hazel Atlas produced in the mid 1930's using the cobalt glass they had originally created for the Shirley Temple line. They only made beverage service in the pattern - pitcher and 9 oz tumbler. Offered here is the #1876 pitcher - stands approximately 8 inches high and holds 54 oz. Excellent condition. These heavy bottom shot glasses were produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company during the 1940's - 50's, though the decoration was probably done by Gay Fads Company. They are part of the Melody series set, with music on one side and a picture on the other. The shots I have available are: 2 Daisy Bell, You Tell Me Your Dream, 2 Silver Threads Among the Gold, 2 Old Grey Mare and 2 How Dry I Am. (only one of each is pictured.)
