Boy White Bisque Figural Toothpick Holder
Boy White Bisque Figural Toothpick Holder . Adorable the holder is an upside down bottle he is carrying on his back. Maker unknown. Item unmarked. I would say this is Victorian. Any help appreciated this is the only example I have seen. It has traces of gold trim remaining around the top of the holder bottle and around the top and bottom of the base. Amazingly looking at this item you would feel it is made of three sections the bottle, boy and base. However if you look up inside you will see it is one solid piece. Very unique and adorable. Height 6 1/4 inch. Base diameter 3 inch. Overall length across 3 1/2 inch. No chips or cracks. A must have. This item is well packed in a box size 11 X 9 X 6 inch and has a total boxed weight of 1 pound 9 ounces.

I do know this item and several other items such as teapots decorative plates vases etc. Were distributed by Friendly Home Toy Parties catalog in the 1970s to 1980s. Made of hand decorated porcelain.

Length across widest section 1 3/4 inch.

Vintage Toby Mug Cup Japan Black European Toothpick Holder
Vintage Toby Mug Cup Japan Black African European Man Toothpick holder. Unusual find here. Stamped in a blue color Japan stamp mark.
Height 2 1/8 inches. Side to handle edge across 2 3/4 inch. Front to back 2 inch.
No chips from damage No cracks No crazing. Does have some imperfections or tiny chips on the rim of hat and handle. See pictures. Being under the glaze this item was made this way. No use damage.
This Toby is dressed in a usual 18th century European style, with a green hat and blonde hair, but this gentleman appears to be black.
Interesting this image appears as a West Indian Toby. Or, Toby visiting from American Colonies or maybe a color selection on the part of the Japanese artist who made it. Very unique in its form. The color facial selection black rather then the Japan typical brown makes this very unusual to find.

Vintage Toothpick Holder Puppy on a Boot
Toothpick holder with a puppy sitting on the toe of a boot. It is a nice brown boot with a tan puppy and is not marked. It is made of painted and glazed stoneware. Best Guess circa 1930s or 1940s. It is in wonderful condition with nice colors and great detail and is 2 inches high, 3 1/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. So cute.

Souvenir Toothpick Holder VT NH and Kansas in wonderful condition. Nice Lot of three. The yellow is marked Leavenworth, Kansas and is 2 1/4 inches high, the green is more of a bud vase type marked Dixville Notch, N.H. and is 2 3/4 inches high and the last if white with a great scene marked Vermont. It is 2 1/2 inches high. A great as found. set.
