1392
Vintage Silver Propelling Pencil. Lovely silver pencil, engine-turned engraving to barrel. Stamped for .835 silver, with "Continental DR G.M.". Measures 110 mm long (4.1/4 inches) and 11.5 mm diameter. Hexagonal case. It doesn’t seem to retract - the action is faulty, and the whole pen unscrews. But I have lead in it and can use it OK. The case is very attractive, and apart from a dent in the very top end finial, is in very good condition.
Circa: Early to Mid 20th Century

1391
Old Fountain Pen, Sterling Silver. Lovely vintage fountain pen, hallmarked as .900 silver, and carrying the Hungarian silver mark for the period 1937-1965. 14 carat gold nib. Other end of pen unscrews to reveal filler button. I don’t think this is operational. Pen measures 11 cm long with a barrel of 1.1 cm diameter (4.3/8 inches and 7/16 inch). Case has lovely engine-turned engraving. It is a little battered from use, but has a lovely feel. If you could sort out the filling action, this would be a comfortable pen to actually use.
