353-24
Signed Scrimshaw Hawk Cuff, Artist Signed The man I purchased this from seemed to know all about it; that the artist is well known and his pieces are highly sought after. Unfortunately I don't recall his name, however, the piece is signed TR as you can see in the close-up. The artwork on this is fantastic. The hawk is sitting on a bluff that looks out over water, with mountains in the background. Looks like Alaska to me, and is probably a tourist piece from the 1950‘s. The value of Scrimshaw is something I know very little about. My price indicates a fair deal compared with researched pieces. I will continue to research it, and will take better photos after the lighting has changed.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

718-3
Mazor Brother's Brooch by Andre Fleuridas, RARE Super RARE, this is a fantastic example of Mazor Brothers early work. Dating between the 1930s-50s and designed by Andre Fleuridas, the brooch measures 2-3/4 inch. As is the case with these early pieces, this is a Sterling brooch with gold over lay (vermeil) and multi colored faceted crystal stones made to look like precious stones. The circular center is etched and surrounded top and middle with crystal, with a Maltese cross topping it off. This regal brooch is in perfect condition other than just needing a light polish. This is a great piece to add to any collection, so think ahead for the holidays. (Ask for gift box if needed). Book value $675.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

354-42
Mercury Dime Charm Bracelet - 1942 Incredible charm bracelet made of mercury dimes all dated 1942. This is really a hard piece to put a price on, as it was no doubt a collection that a family member had made into a bracelet years later. I had a coin collector tell me that the dimes alone were worth $110. The chunk bracelet itself is marked Milor, 925 Italy. It measures eight inches and holds eight dimes, all housed in a sterling ring with no damage to the coins; making it an even more desirable collectors piece.

All my jewelry is vintage or antique previously worn jewelry for the most part. For this reason I try to include close-up photos for your examination, but please feel free to ask questions before you make your purchase.

Click for more detail...
101-1219264616
Victorian Iron Umbrella Stand/Fireplace Utensil Stand The antique dealer I purchased this from years ago was not sure what this originally was and she was as old as the piece, so please excuse my ignorance. I bought this to use as an umbrella stand but I do think it is a Victorian fireplace utensil stand. I don't know anything about these obviously, but this one is marked with a W and an 8, and 21 on the base. The number 21 is also present on the shaft and top ring holder. I think this is the original finish as well. It' a very elegant stand, and over the years I have put it to various uses including a necklace rack.

If my husband can get it apart, I can mail this USPS Flat Rate for $8.95, otherwise it will be more for postage.

718-1
Art Glass and Rhinestone Brooch (Eisenberg) One of the best things about my job is that I am continually awed by new finds. Since it is not marked I feel it is American made with Czech or Italian glass. This is one of the most unique rhinestone pieces I've had; but there are similarly made pieces I've seen in reference guides that are attributed to Eisenberg. The center is a huge 1-5/8" faceted piece of art glass. It's clear with an emerald splash in the center. Elaborate prongs hold it to a ring of flashy rhinestones. The piece is in excellent condition other than some yellowed glue under the rim at the prongs (which appears to be added some time after manufacturing). This can be easily cleaned by lifting the prongs and brushing it out with a tooth brush. I brushed at the edges a little and it seems to come right off. This brooch is a keeper, and I find it hard to believe it isn't still part of a family inheritance. Their loss, your gain!

Victorian Collar Czech Pin with Amethyst Crystal This late Victorian collar pin is made with rhinestones and an amethyst crystal center. The back pin has a C closure and a tube hinge. It is my guess it is Czechoslovakian because it came from an estate with many Czech pieces, as well as it looks the part with its fancy brass work. Book value $65.

336-26
Al Jolson Minstral Man Plastic Brooch I have seen black faced pins from Czechoslovakia. I did get this one in France, however, it is not marked Czech. Named after a Broadway performer of the 1920-30's, Al Jolson the Mintral Man, is this darling brooch with a lot of bright colors of molded plastic that make up the black baby and pineapple. It measures 3-1/2" x 2-3/4 inch. Book value $65.

336-27
Sterling Far East Pin of Sumo Wrestling Goddess This is a very interesting piece of oriental silver. A Japanese Sumo is wrestling a beautiful women which appear to represent good and evil. The pin back has a tube hinge with the pin point (still VERY sharp)stretching beyond the the pin; placing it from the early 1800s. It appears to have had a gold wash over some areas that is now very faint. There is a stamp on the back that I have not been able to identify. Book value $175.

Collection of Avon Rings: Pick Your Own Of these 14 rings, the 10 that are marked are AVON. The sizes vary, so please ask the size of the one(s) you are interested in before you place your order. There are three silver tone and the rest are gold tone. They are adorned with rhinestone or enamel and are all in excellent condition with the exception of the buckle ring that has plate wear on the inside (I see from the close-up photo that this ring is also missing a few rhinestones which will be professionally repaired before they are shipped. This is also the only ring that is adjustable.

Authentic Ivory Carved Whaling Ship Scrimshaw Cameo This is one of the nicest Scrimshaw whaling ships you'll find.
