US MARSHAL INDIAN TERRITORY United States Marshal Leo Bennett, Muskogee, Indian Territory, was also the US Indian Agent; as US Marshal he commanded such deputies as Chris Madsen, Bill Tilghman, Heck Thomas & Bass Reeves; in 1909 he captured the Creek Indian "Crazy Snake" uprising leaders. Marshal Bennett was also a leader in the fraternal order, Knights of Pythias, in Oklahoma.
