Mid Century Homco Taiwan Christmas Mouse Figure Santa Helper 5405
Neat find out of a home, a china or bisque porcelain (this is translucent) Christmas decor figure. This is a mouse in a Santa suit carrying a bag which we would presume is meant to be full of toys. We would call this a Christmas Mouse who is Santa's helper (or is helping Santa).
Underside base has both a gold foil attached label which states Homco, Made in Taiwan, as well as what we presume to be the manufacturer item number, 5405, with a crossed swords symbol. From these markings we are guessing this was made later mid century, in the 1960s or 1970s, but don't know that for certain.
Stands about 3 3/4 inches tall, about 3 inches wide and about 2 inches in depth. A fun vintage piece for Christmas holiday display, light weight, weighing a bit over 3 ounces unpacked. This will be shipped in a box for safety.
Fully painted in vibrant colors in wonderful, ready to use condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or major flaws. There are a few possible tiny dots of paint wear but nothing bad at all. There is some light age/use wear, with a bit of dirt on his/her bag, particularly on the backside, which you could lightly wash off, but we left as is to not cause paint wear and are selling as is/as found. Please examine the images closely using the zoom feature.

Vtg Christmas Santa Claus Aluminum Cookie Cutter Green Wood Handle
This is an antique or vintage aluminum cookie cutter with a green wood handle likely from the 1930s or 1940s, although we don't know the age for certain. This is a Christmas cookie cutter or vintage holiday cutter in the shape of Santa Claus carrying his sack or bag of toys on his back. It measures about 3 9/16 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and sits about 1 1/2 inches in height to the top of the wood handle.
While the handle is fully attached to the old cookie cutter and will not come loose, it is not tight and has some "play room". If you shake the cookie cutter holding the handle, the base aluminum portion shakes and can be spun around freely in the air if you push it. The handle does not sit totally straight when viewed from the side, but at a slight angle, due to some denting/pushing in of the aluminum as will be further explained below. The outer edges of this cutter are smooth, they are not ridged or scalloped.
The old cookie cutter came out of a home and is in vintage used shape as it was likely used in a lot of baking cookies. The top aluminum surface is not flat as when it was made, but is lower or pushed in around the handle, causing concave sections to the topside of the head, shoulder and front body portions of this cutter (the denting is most pronounced to the head portion). You can also see the curves when looking from the underside of this piece. This piece sits flat on a table (and does not wobble when placed on a table), with very slight differences in spots as to how flat the cutter lays against the table (ie. a few spots sit higher from the table, but not bad at all). There is a tiny spot on the head where the aluminum lower side edge has been pushed in or pushed up a tad where it meets the table.
The aluminum portion has expected wear from scratches, scuffs, rubbed spots, a few dark dots, perhaps a few tiny pin rust dots, some light spotting, and other signs of wear. The wood handle also shows age/use wear via a vertical paint wear line on one side, paint wear around the base, other dots of paint wear, black dotting/wear on/near the handle top, with other general use wear.
Fun cookie cutter that would make a nice addition to any cookie cutter or baking utensil collection or an overall collection of kitchen utensils with green wood handles. Would also make a nice addition to any grouping of Santa Claus or Christmas collectibles. With the holes in the aluminum top, a crafty person could also string wire and hang this as an ornament on a Christmas tree as a fun addition.

1950s/60s Murano Italian Art Glass Ferro & Lazzarini Angel w/Label
Lovely vintage clear glass standing angel figure or figurine, measuring about 6 5/8 inches in height, about 3 3/16 inches in depth (from front to outer tip of dual wings on backside), and 2 inches in width or diameter of the circular base.
This is a vintage Murano glass or Italian Art Glass piece, still having its original red & gold triangular label attached near the lower side base, which states "Italy Murano Glass" along with the manufacturer name, "Ferro & Lazzarini". There is no other signature marking on the piece.
Neatly shaped old glass angel with a round halo on its head, sculpted hands clasped in the front and 2 separate sculpted wings on the backside, each having 2 points. There are lines/ridges on the hair which looks to be hanging down past the neck of this angel, so we think it is meant to depict a girl or female angel. There are no sculpted facial features (no eyes, nose, mouth or ears). While there are two molded lines on either side of her neck, these do not go vertically down the full piece. There are a number of bubbles in the glass, so perhaps this was blown into a mold of some sort, we can't tell for sure, as well as some light lines in the glass as made.
From the label, look and older home which this came out of, we believe this to be a vintage piece from the 1950s or 1960s. We don't know the age for certain, but we do not believe it to be a new piece. This piece is not flimsy and has some weight to it, weighing over one pound unpacked.
We've provided 8 images to try and show from all angles including two close-ups of the manufacturer label. Please note that the camera lighting creates white highlights or hot spots on the glass. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
Wonderful overall condition with no major large chips, scratches, pieces missing, but it does show a bit of evidence of age/wear. Along the bottom rim of the piece there are many minor flakes or very very tiny chips from years of sitting and likely picking up, putting down and packing away. None of these are bad and none are noticeable when on display but you can feel these with a finger and see them in person if you look very closely. We do not see any other chips/flakes. Near the angel's neck in front and on one side, there are some lines, straw marks and/or scratches on the top surface of the glass (in roughly 5 small spots). We can't tell if some or all of these were made in the forming of the angel or happened with handling over the years. Since we think someone probably handled/carried this holding the sides near the base, in areas which don't show wear, we suspect these marks were made in forming the neck or separating the piece from a mold or a glass forming tool, but don't know that for certain. You won't notice these when on display, but if you go looking you will see them. These are a few stray scratches from age/wear (nothing bad) and perhaps some other general wear/handling, but really nothing to worry about with this piece.
A great addition to any Murano glass or Italian Art Glass collection, or one related to Ferro & Lazzarini pieces in particular. Also a nice piece to add to any collection of angels or Christmas décor in general.

Fun Vintage Porcelain China Christmas Trinket Box Santa with Tree
Fun small porcelain (this is slightly translucent) or china trinket box for adding to your Christmas holiday display or decor. This is round, in the shape of Santa Claus with him holding a Christmas tree in one hand and his gold colored pipe in the other. Box opens around his belt to show the clean, fully formed top and bottom openings within, and snaps shut with the box on his belt.
There is no manufacturer or country of origin marking on this piece; we don't know if it once had a paper label with that information, as there is no indication of a label. So we can't be certain of the age, but it isn't brand new and are calling it vintage.
Sits about 2 1/4 inches in height, about 2 inches in width and about 1 5/8 inches in depth. Light weight, weighing a bit over 2 ounces unpacked. This will be shipped in a box for safety.
Very nice overall condition, with some spots of paint wear but not bad. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, pieces missing. You can see in the last image that the underside base shows the most paint wear spots, but these are not noticeable when this is sitting on a table. Other than the underside base, there is a spot of gold paint wear to white on the end of his pipe, and two tiny dots of paint wear on one lower side of Santa's outfit below his belt, again nothing major. There may be other light wear touches, but really nothing to worry about here. Please examine the images closely using the zoom feature (please note that some "white hot spots" in the images will be lighting reflection from the camera light on the smooth painted surfaces).

Nifty Vintage Aged Small Bell with Green Bakelite Handle Mid Century
Neat find out of a home. A vintage small hand bell such as used at Christmas time or for ringing for help/table server in a higher end home. We believe this to be a mid century piece as it has its original dark green bakelite handle, with the handle in very nice shape for its age (the metal bell parts show their age more).
Sitting on a table, this stands 4 inches tall, with a greatest width/diameter to the round metal bell base of about 2 1/4 inches and a greatest width to the handle of about 3/8 inch. The vertical handle appears slightly narrower at the base where it meets the bell than at the flat top, so it flares outward slightly. The handle is hexagonal in shape or having 6 defined vertical sides. The bell weighs a bit over 1 1/2 ounces unpacked and would be shipped in a box for safety.
While fully attached to the metal bell part, the handle is very movable, not standing firmly straight. There is a lot of give, so when you put the bell down on a table, the handle may end up looking very angled or slanted to one side, but you can then stand the handle up straight (it just won't immediately stand straight on its own much of the time). It is also key to note that the bell is missing its originally knocker (as you can see in one image), with the former owner having attached instead an unbent paper clip, so this will make a slight bell sound when shaken, but not its original full sound.
The handle itself has some expected use/storage/handling wear, showing some light spotting, darkening at the base, some scrapes, scratches & scarring, a few flakes/tiny chips along the handle edges, etc., all typical for the age and something that has been used, but no major large chips, cracks, etc. The metal bell (a magnet does stick to this, so it isn't brass) shows all over age, wear, spotting, tarnishing & some rusting (not bright orange rust spots but likely there's rust here). The metal definitely shows the age of this piece, but we find this supports that this is an original mid century piece and adds to the great overall vintage look. The metal is still shaped well, with no chips, cracks or pieces missing.
Please note that this was difficult to show in the images due to how the camera light reflected on the smooth bakelite and metal surfaces. So we included one image shot with out the camera light to help in viewing detail.
A neat piece to add to any bell collection or a collection of bakelite items. Would also look nice when displayed with other Christmas items during the holidays.
