I am currently researching and preparing a book on Stanley Ballard, a Vermont Mid-Century studio potter who worked in Burlington Vermont from 1945 to his death in 1960. He studied at Alfred University along with David Gil who started Bennington Potters. Both men trained under Glidden Parker. If you have any information on Ballard, from photos, newspaper articles, price lists or catalogs, please contact me.
