Antique Newspapers – First days of WWI - Amazing.

These three front sections of the Atlanta Georgian capture the growing calamity engulfing Europe. It’s interesting that an Atlanta newspaper so far from France would be so dominated by the events three years before the U.S. entered the war. Newspaper coverage was how...

ANTIQUE TOYS - TABLE CROQUET – Milton Bradley –C.1910.
We are not experts on old games, but this one is very old and looks like it's from the 1910-1920 era. The clothing and hairstyles of the people shown on the box seem to be from that time period. We’re not positive what it was for. One theory based on the very thin slots is that it held glass photography plates or magic lantern slides. There are old handwritten numbers...

ANTIQUE RAILROAD CAR MIRRORS - PAIR - C.1900.
Gorgeous wood mirrors that were originally built in to a very fine railroad car, most likely a private car. The wood is solid walnut and burl veneer. There is gold edging on the trim. Superb craftsmanship. The mirror glass is old and worn. It could certainly be replaced, but the wear adds to the pieces in our opinion.
Size: 37" tall x 18 1/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep. ...
