T5630A

Yankee Screwdriver No. 30A Phillips Screwdriver Adapter Have a Yankee Spiral Ratchet Screwdriver? Need a Philips head bit for it? This adapter is for standard Hex drive bits, giving you the ability to buy any type head or length head you wish (hex bits are found at any hardware store). This adaptor is made in the USA and comes in two shank sizes on the Yankee connecting end, this one is .280 (9/32") diameter for the Yankee 30A and some other models, like the Millers Falls 61A, as well. I also have a larger, and smaller size availiable at this site. On the hex end there is a coil spring the grasps the hex bit when it is inserted keeping it from falling out. (Don't use bits that are stepped down as they will become stuck in the adapter. Small notches are fine, like the ones shown in the pictures. You also get one hex drive Philips No. 2 bit with each adapter (the slot head is not included). A real nice addition to your bits for a Yankee screwdriver! <br>
Shipped in the contental U.S.A. is $3.00.

Click for more detail...

T5198

Culter Cast Steel Flat Carving Chisel This is a top quality 19th century carving chisel that is marked "T. CUTLER CAST STEEL". I've used this chisel since the pictures were taken, and before I used it I flat stoned the bottom surface, removing most of the light pitting near the cutting edge. It is sharp and ready to work. There is one 1/16" area that will have to be sharpened through after about 5 normal sharpenings in the future, due to a pitted area of that size. Otherwise a good chisel with a nice multi-surfaced hardwood handle (appears to be original), in good solid condition.
Circa: 19th century
Condition: Good
Manufacturer: T. CUTLER
