Substantial handmade linen and figural needle lace tablecloth with mono
Substantial handmade linen and figural needle lace tablecloth with monogram circa late 1800s. This yellow tablecloth measures 41 by 43 inches, the hems are all hand stitched with drawnwork, there is a finely hand embroidered monogram in one corner that reads PL or LP, there is a fantastic 5.5 inch wide needle lace insert with mythical beasts around the edge, fine quality handwork! This tablecloth is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is very high end, thick with a pebbled surface and a fluid drape.

Vintage D. Porthault linen sheet set, hand stitched with labels
Vintage D. Porthault linen sheet set, hand stitched with labels. This white linen set consists of a sheet measuring 102 inches wide by 126 inches in length (will fit both king and queen beds) and 2 pillow shams 28 inches square. The set is summer weight with an ocean wave pattern appliquéd across the turndown and one corner of each of the shams, the hems and stitching is all done by hand a trademark of vintage Porthault linens. One sham has a small well done hand darn near the seam edge, the set is otherwise in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it. The linen is of the highest quality, buttery soft, fabulous drape and hand! Porthault is the linen of royalty, presidents and the fabulously wealthy, Jackie O used Porthault.

This cream linen tablecloth measures 27 by 30 inches, the hems are stitched by hand with 2 rows of fancy drawnwork, there is a hand embroidered monogram centered on one edge that reads DH or HD. This piece is in excellent condition, I have washed and pressed it.

Lovely hand made Limerick lace runner with hand embroidery late 1800s. This ecru lace runner measures 14 by 44 inches, the lace is made using machine made mesh, the pretty floral designs are then hand embroidered into the mesh, there are some needle lace filling stitches and satin stitch embroidered details. There is one teensy hole in the mesh, the runner is otherwise all good, I have washed and pressed it.

Hand loomed linen damask tablecloth circa 1870s with provenance
Hand loomed linen damask tablecloth circa 1870s with provenance. This white linen tablecloth measures 60 by 86 inches, the hand embroidered monogram reads EMB, damask designs are organic with Lilly of the Valley over the body of the cloth and floral bouquets in the corners. There are 4 neatly hand done darns a very small hole at the edge and 3 little small pea size thin spots, the tablecloth is otherwise good, I have washed and pressed it. This tablecloth came from a Boston area estate, the linen is of high quality, it is soft with a cool, fluid drape. I will send provenance with the tablecloth.
