MATERIALS:
• LION BRAND HOMESPUN
5 skeins #347 Mediterranean (MC)
3 skeins #346 Bella Vista (CC) or colors of your choice
(Knit Version “Winter Night” shown in 336 Barrington and 309 Deco)
• Size K-10 1/2 (6.50 mm) hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
GAUGE
10 sc = 4” (10 cm); each square measures 8” x 8”. BE SURE TO
CHECK YOUR GAUGE
AFGHAN (made up of 35 squares)
SQUARE
Using MC, ch 21.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (20 sc).
Row 2 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across. Rep Row 2 for 5”. Change to
CC and work for 3” more. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew squares tog invisibly as per ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM below.
BORDER
With MC, attach yarn in any corner. Work in sc for 2 rnds, working 3
sc in each corner each rnd.
