MATERIALS:
LION BRAND Kitchen Cotton, Art. No. 760 (5 oz. solid color balls; 4 oz. multi-color balls): 2 balls #131 Fern Green or solid color of your choice. Crochet hook size G-6 U.S. (4.25 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

GAUGE:
4 sc = 1”. TO INSURE PROPER SIZE, BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

APRON:
Ch 69. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 68 sc. Ch 1, turn. Cont in sc for 10”. Fasten off.

POCKET:
Ch 61. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 60 sc. Ch 1, turn. Cont in sc for 7”. Fasten off.

FINISHING:
Position pocket on the apron 1” in from each side edge and even with bottom edge. Sew pocket to apron along side edges of pocket. Mark 2 vertical seams 4” in from each side edge of pocket piece to create 3 separate pockets. Work a vertical ch at each pocket marker from bottom edge to top edge.

Edging: With RS facing, join yarn with a sl st at the upper right corner of apron and work 1 row sc along right side edge to next corner, 3 sc in corner, along bottom edge through both pieces to next corner, 3 sc in corner, then along left side edge. Fasten off.

Tie: Ch 5. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 4 sc. Ch 1, turn. Cont in sc for 60”. Fasten off. Mark tie 21 1/2” in from each end, then invisibly sew tie to upper edge of apron bet the markers leaving 21 1/2” on each end free.
