SIZE: 7” x 7”

MATERIALS

• LION BRAND Lion Cotton

  • 1 ball #224 Sagebrush (makes 4) OR
  • 1 ball #124 Khaki (makes 5) OR
  • 1 ball #123 Seaspray (makes 5) or color(s) of your choice

• Size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

GAUGE: 13 stitches = 4” (10 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

WASHCLOTH
Chain 22.
Row 1
Half-double crochet in 3rd chain from hook and in each chain across – 20 half-double crochets. Chain 2, turn.
Row 2 Half-double crochet through the back loop in each half-double crochet across. Chain 2, turn.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 6¼" from beginning. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Round 1
Beginning in a corner, work 1 single crochet in each stitch and row around, working 3 single crochets in each corner.
Round 2 Work 1 single crochet through the back loop in corner stitch, then one single crochet through the back loop in each stitch around, working 3 single crochets through the back loop in each corner to beginning corner; chain 10 and slip stitch in beginning chain for hanging loop. Fasten off and weave in ends.
