MATERIALS
LION BRAND Microspun
    2 (2, 2, 2) balls #144 Lilac (A)
    1 ball #194 Lime (B)
    1 ball #103 Coral (C)
    or colors of your choice
• Size H-8 (50 mm) crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Four buttons

GAUGE
16 dc + 8 rows = 4” (10 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

PATTERN STITCH
Row 1 (RS)
Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each rem ch. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2
(Sc, 3 dc) in first sc, *skip next 3 sc, (sc, 3 dc) in next sc; rep from * across to last 4 sc, skip next 3 sc, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3 (Sc, 3 dc) in first sc, *skip next 3 dc, (sc, 3 dc) in next sc; rep from * across to last 4 sts, skip next 3 dc, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Rep Row 3 for pattern.

STRIPE PATTERN
Rows 1-2
A
Row 3 B
Row 4 C
Rows 5-6 A
Row 7 C
Row 8 B
Rep Rows 1-8 for stripe pattern sequence.

BACK
With A, ch 49 (53, 57, 61). Beg with Row 1 (48 [52, 56, 60] sc after Row 1]), work in pattern st and stripe pattern for 14 (15, 16, 17) rows. Note Piece should measure 5 1/4 (5 3/4, 6 1/4, 6 3/4)” from beg. Shape armholes Maintaining pattern st and stripe sequence, slip st across 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows – 40 (44, 48, 52) sts. Continue as in this way for 12 (13, 14, 15) rows or until armholes measure 4 3/4 (5, 5 1/2, 5 3/4)”. Shape shoulders/neck On left shoulder, work 12 (12, 16, 16) dc for button band. Fasten off.

FRONT
Work as for Back until armholes measure 2 3/4 (3, 3 1/2, 3 3/4)”. Shape neck Right side Continue in pattern and color sequence as for Back as foll: Next row Work first 16 (16, 20, 20) sts. Ch 1, turn. Next row Work 4 sc, work in pattern to end of row. Continue in pattern for 4 rows. Fasten off. Left side Skip center 8 (12, 8, 12) sts and work as for right side, rev shaping. Fasten off.

SLEEVES
With A, ch 21 (23, 25, 27). Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each rem ch – 20 (22, 24, 26) sc. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2 Dc in each st to end.
Row 3 Work in dc, inc 1 st at each end of row.
Row 4 Change to B for left sleeve and C for right sleeve. Continue in dc; AT SAME TIME, (inc 1 st at each end of next 2 rows, then work 1 row without incs) until sleeve measures 6 1/2 (7, 8, 8 1/2)” from beg. Slip st across 3 sts at beg of next 4 rows. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Sew right shoulder seam. Sew only last 2 sts on left shoulder seam placing front on button band. Sew sleeves into armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew 4 buttons on button band. Neckband With RS facing, join A and dc evenly around neck edge for 1 row. Fasten off.
