Sportweight: 1 ball #301 White/Multi or color of your choice*
• Crochet hook size G-6 (4 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Crochet thread stiffener
• Pins, cardboard, plastic or wax paper

Ch 3. Sl st to join to form ring.
Rnd 1 Ch 1, make 8 sc in ring, sl st to first sc to join.
Rnd 2 Ch 3 (this counts as first dc), make 2 more dc in same sc,
(skip 1 sc, ch 5, make 3 dc in next dc) around; ending ch 5, skip next sc,
sl st to join in top of beg ch-3.
Rnd 3 Sl st across dc to ch-5 sp, ch 3, make 2 more dc in ch-5 sp, ch
5, make 3 dc in same ch-5 sp, [ch 1, skip next 3 dc, make (3 dc, ch 5, 3 dc)
in next ch 5 sp] around; ending ch 1, sl st to join in top of beg ch-3.
Leg 1 Sl st across dc to ch-5 sp, *ch 3, make 2 more dc in this ch-5

beg ch-4.
First Leg (Sl st to ch-1 sp, ch 4, dc in ch-1 sp, turn) 3 times, ch 3,
sl st in 3rd ch from hook, skip ch-1 sp, sl st to join in top of next dc.
Fasten off.
Filler Attach yarn to top of first real dc of leg, ch 1, sc in ch-3

Rnd 5 Ch 1, (sc in sc, make 7 sc in ch-7 sp) around; ending sl st to
join in top of first sc.

FINISHING FOR ALL
Stiffen Snowflakes with crochet thread stiffener as per manufacturer’s
directions. When Snowflakes are completely dry and hardened, neatly snip off
loose ends.
