   2 skeins #100 Snowcap White (B)
   2 skeins #113 Patriot Red (C) or colors of your choice
· Size 11 (8 mm) knitting needles or size to obtain gauge
· Large-eyed, blunt needle

GAUGE
12 sts + 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

WRAP
With A, cast on 54 stitches. Work in garter stitch until piece measures 12” from beginning, end after a WS row.

Change to B and continue in garter stitch in following stripe sequence: (12 rows B; 12 rows C) 10 times; then 12 rows B. Continue in A only for 12” more. Fasten off.

POCKET
With A, cast on 30. Work even in garter stitch until piece measures 7” from beginning. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Center pocket 2 inches up from the bottom edge. Sew in place.
