GAUGE
14 sts + 15 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with one
strand each Fun Fur and Wool-Ease Sportweight held together. BE SURE TO
CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

STITCH EXPLANATION
M1 (make 1) An increase worked by lifting the horizontal thread lying
between the needles and placing it onto the left needle. Work this new
stitch through the back loop.

With both A yarns tog, cast on 70 (80) sts. Work 2 rows in Garter st
(k every row). Cont in St st, follow chart until piece measures 14 (14
1/2)" from beg - Row 52 (54) completed.
Shape raglan armhole Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st
each side on next row; dec 1 st each side every other row 12 times more;
then every row 7 (11) times. Bind off rem 24 (26) sts. Work collar
following portion of chart when all pieces are complete. See FINISHING for
specific details.

With both A yarns tog, cast on 38 (44) sts. Work 2 rows in Garter st.
Next row (RS) Following chart, work in St st to last 4 sts, work 4
sts in Garter st for placket. Note Keeping front edge of piece in
Garter st, slip the first st on WS rows for a smooth edge. Cont in this
way until piece measures 14 (14 1/2)" from beg - Row 52 (54)
completed.
Shape raglan armhole Bind off 3 sts at beg of next row. Dec 1 st at
beg of next RS row; dec 1 st at beg of every other row 12 times, then
every row 7 (11) times. AT SAME TIME, when armhole measures 7 (8)",
begin neck shaping - Row 76 (82) completed.
Shape neck Work to last 8 (9) sts, place these sts on a holder, turn.
Next row (WS) Bind off 3 sts at neck edge once. Bind off 2 sts at
neck edge every other row twice (once), then 0 (1) st once.
Button placement Place markers along front edge for 4 buttons as
foll: First one 1" below neck, 3 others spaced 2 1/2" apart.

Work as for Left Front, reversing shaping and working buttonholes
opposite markers on RS rows as foll: Slip 1, k 2, k2tog, yo, k to end.

With both A yarns tog, cast on 30 (38) sts. Work 2 rows in Garter st.
Following chart, cont in St st only. Work even for 4 rows.
Inc row (RS) K 1, M1, k to last st, M1, k 1. Repeat inc row every
6th row 9 times more - 50 (58) sts. Work even until piece measures 16 1/2
(17)" from beg - Row 60 (62) completed.
Shape raglan cap Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st
each side on next row; dec 1 st each side on every other row 13 (14) times
more; then every row 5 (7) times. Bind off rem 6 (8) sts.
FINISHING
Sew raglan sleeve caps to raglan armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams.
COLLAR Click

With WS facing and A, k across 8 (9) sts from front neck holder, pick
up and k 50 (56) sts evenly around neck edge, k across 8 (9) sts from
front neck holder - 66 (74) sts. Following chart, work 4 sts at beg and
end of rows in Garter st, all other sts in St st. Work even for 4 rows.
Inc 1 st at each side inside Garter st borders every 4th row 3 times - 72
(80) sts. Work even until Collar measures 6" - 22 rows. Work 2 rows
in Garter st. Bind off loosely.
Weave in loose ends. Sew on buttons.
