sizes 6 U.S. (4.25 mm) and 8 U.S. (6 U.K.) (5.00 mm) OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
• Circular needle 29" long in size 6.
• Cable needle.

until piece meas same as Back to shoulder. BO rem sts. LEFT FRONT Work to correspond to Right Front, rev shaping and
pat. SLEEVES With straight size 6 needles, cast on 64 sts.
Row 1 (WS): K 1, p 2, *k 2, p 2; rep from * across, end k 1.
Row 2: K 1, *k 2, p 2; rep from * across, end k 3. Rep Rows 1 & 2, 7 times more, then rep Row 1 once more. Change to straight
knitting needles size 8. Est Fisherman Pat: Row 1 (RS): P 2, *T-2, p 1, C-6, p 1, T-2*, p 3, T-2, p 2, T-2, p 3, C-12, p 3, T-2,
p 2, T-2, p 3; rep from * to * once, p 2. Cont in est pat for 6 rows, then inc 1 st inside first and last sts on next row, then every 6
rows 7 (7, 9, 11) times more, then every 4 rows 8 times working inc sts into (p 3, T-2, p 2, T-2) pat -- 96 (96, 100, 104) sts. Cont
even in est pat until Sleeve meas 16 (16, 17, 17)" from beg.
Shape cap: Maintaining pat, BO 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each edge inside first and last sts ever other row 15
(15, 17, 19) times -- 56 sts rem.
Next row: K 1, k3tog twice, cont pat to last 7 sts, sl1-k2tog-psso, k3tog, k 1.
Next row: K 1, ssk, p 1, T-2, p2tog, cont pat to last 8 sts, p2tog, T-2, p 1, k2tog, p 1.
Next row: P 1, p2tog, (T-2, p2tog) twice, T-2, p 3, cont pat to last 13 sts, (T-2, p2tog) twice, T-2, p2tog, p 1. BO,
working each set of T-2 as k2tog and dec 4 sts over C-12 panel while binding off. Note: Total length, 23 (23, 24,
24)". FINISHING Sew shoulder and side seams. Set in Sleeves. Sew Sleeve seams. Front Band: With
RS facing, using circular needle size 6, join yarn at Right Front lower corner, pick up 1 st in every row along Right Front
opening edge to shoulder, k sts from Back neck holder, then pick up 1 st in every row along Left Front opening edge. Work in k 2,
p 2 rib for 3 rows, ending with a WS row. Place a marker for 6 buttonholes evenly spaced along Right Front band, with the first
one 1" above lower edge and the last one 17 (17, 17, 18)" above lower edge.
Buttonhole row (RS): *Work in est rib to next marker ending with k 2, (p 1, k2tog, yo twice, ssk, p 1 = buttonhole)*; rep
from * to * across all markers, cont in est rib to end of row.
Next row: Work in est rib working p 2 in each (yo twice). Cont in est ribbing for 2 rows more. Bind off in ribbing. Sew
on buttons to correspond to buttonholes.
