Used but in excellent condition with no rips, holes or fading. There is some very light soiling, likely from having been hung for at least a year. I will leave it up to the new owner as to whether or not to wash or leave as is. It doesn't show up well in the photo, but there are lots of various colored sequins sewn on to the trees, the flowers and some of the dates. Not sure if it was made this way, but I believe it was applied by the previous owner. Adds a nice touch! Beige material with the 'Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep' prayer cross-stitched in aqua thread. Designs around the prayer include an Ark, giraffes, elephants, donkeys, squirrels, ducks and lions cross-stitched in various bright colors. The colors are repeated in an attractive cross-stitched border. Age unknown, but based on the aged/rusted look of the nails on the back, it appears to be quite old. This framed Sampler is in excellent condition and glass protects the sampler. The frame measures 13 x 17 inches. Based on the design on the frame and its general appearance, it looks to be quite old; however, it is in very good condition. See extra image for close-up of the frame design. Beautiful brown, green, gold and red colors for the buildings and trees and vivid pastel colors to the English garden surrounding the cottage. These small pictures, 5 1/8" x 4", are framed in black and silver frames. Except for some insignificant discoloration/rust on the sides of one frame, both pictures are otherwise in excellent condition. Exact age unknown, but I've probably had these since the late 1950s or early 1960s and they were not new then. No signature on the pictures and no markings on the back. Price is for both pictures.
