NATIVITY SET, WOOD, HAND PAINTED
This is a wonderful handmade, hand painted, Nativity set.
This set was created using thick ¾" wood, making it very sturdy.
It has the stable, which also serves as the holder for the rest of the set when not in use. It is painted in shades of red, brown and green. A large yellow star attaches to the top of the stable.
There are the 3 Wise Men. Each is painted with a different color and a bright rhinestone is glued on the front of each of their robes. They have a bejeweled camel who travels with them.
There is the shepherd with his crook glued to him. He has 3 sheep, 2 large, one small for him to care for.
Then there is Mary and Joseph, and the new born Baby Jesus, and their trusty donkey that carried Mary on his back to Bethlehem.
This cute nativity set would be excellent to use in a child’s room, or placed lower where little hands can play, but not break.

JOY CHRISTMAS ELVES CANDLE HOLDER
This is a cute candle holder.
Three cute elves help accent the word of the season—JOY.
The J and the Y appear to be snow covered trees. A cute elf is sitting in the circle of the J. The O is a Christmas wreath with one of the cute elves poking thru the middle of it. A third elf is poking his head around the end of the Y.
The back side of this candle holder is decorated as well. You get to see the rear ends of each of the elves!!
This candle holder is hand painted. IT was made by Nobel Hall It is about 8" long and 3 ¼" tall. The candles sit in the top of each letter. It has 3 unburned red candles that come with it. It appears to have never been used.
However, the center brass candle holder is slightly bent, but it is still very useable.
What a cute whimsical addition to your Christmas décor!!

HALLMARK CHRISTMAS ANGEL CENTERPIECE
This is a wonderful blast from the past decoration. This is a Hallmark party center piece, the type that used to grace the wonderful afternoon teas in the 50’s and 60’s.
I found this at an estate sale several years ago.
This punch out paper angel easily snaps together by folding and putting tabs into precut slots. She stands 13" tall when fully assembled. She also comes with 7 Place Cup Angels, to be used as place cards for your guests seating. These cards have never been used. I am not sure the Angel has been used either as the sleeves don’t appear to have ever been bent into shape.
The package itself shows the completed angel, gracing a very elegant and festively set table. It has written on it: "Hallmark Holiday Decoration, Christmas Angel. A heavenly touch for the Christmas mantel, the party table, or the festive window. Glistening and golden, this Christmas Angel stands 13" high. Three dimensional…Easily assembled! $1.00." The back of the package was for mailing. The postage says sealed, 12 cents, unsealed 4 cents. It also has someone’s name written on it.
This would still make a wonderful center piece for your table, window, or mantle.

TEDDY BEAR TRIO CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS
These cute little Christmas Ornaments depict a Teddy Bear Band. Each stands on a chimney and plays a different instrument. One is playing a violin, one an accordion, and the 3rd a brass horn. Each bear is dressed in a Santa suit and cap, and each wears green boots.
These ornaments were Made in Taiwan they are in their original box, and looking for a new home.

ELF KNEE HUGGER AND POSE-ABLE PIXIE
Here are two cute elves or pixies for Christmas, or any time of the year. They were found at an estate sale several years ago.
The first is a Knee Hugger. With his legs pulled out and measuring from feet to top of hat he is about 8" long, with the knees tucked up he is about 5". He is designed as an ornament. He has a yellow plastic rope thru his hat to hang him. He has large expressive blue eyes, red hair, and a cute smile. His eyebrows, lashes and mouth look like they have been hand painted. He has large pointy ears.
He has had some wear to him, his hat band needs to be re-glued and his knees are a little dirty from handling over the years. He also has a scorch mark on his back side where he appears to have sat too close to a light bulb.
The second pixie is pose-able. Stretched out she is about 4 ¼" tall. Her face has been hand painted. She has plastic hands and her hair is a feather.
These would make cute additions to your Christmas décor.

Another estate find. Here are 3 sealed packages of Shiny Brite Satin Christmas Ornaments.
These have 6 ornaments in each package. They are about 1" across.
The colors are cobalt blue, lime green, and white. Each package has wrapped wire to place in the ornaments in order to hang them or use them in wreaths etc.
The package says: Christmas Decoration, Shiny Brite, Manufactured for Roloron Products Inc., Max Eckardt-Shiny Brite Division, New Rochelle N. Y. 10801, No 48-2061, 6 pieces, Made in Taiwan.

PANORAMA ORNAMENTS--ANGELS
These wonderful Panorama ornaments were made in Hong Kong. They were found at an estate sale.
They are still unopened in their original packaging.
These ornaments depict 3 Angels. They are dressed in blue, pink and white gowns.
They are small- 1 ½" tall.
The package says they are Style F 121, Hong Kong.
There are 4 sealed packages. The price is for each.
Glued on the top of gifts, they really dress them up and make them special.

CHARLES RUSSELL WALL PLAQUE, 1949, Signed by Artist
This is a wonderful artist signed wall plaque of a picture of Charlie Russell.
The artist is Evelyn Cole, a Montana artist. Ms Cole was born in Chinook Montana. She lived all her life there. She was a self taught painter and sculptor, and was considered eccentric. She never married. She supported herself by painting or sculpting local heroes, and creating murals for local business. It is signed to Mrs. Chapman from Evelyn Cole, artist. It is also signed in the clay on the bottom of the neck. It says (copy write) symbol, Evelyn L. Cole, a logo of some type, and 1949.
She was nominated in November 1956 by Lt Aubrey to submit a model of Charles Russell for a statue. This life size statue was to be erected in the National Statuary Hall of Fame in Washington D.C. Her entry was in 1959. Unfortunately, Miss Cole did not win the contest.
This wall plaque is a side 3 D bust of Charles Russell. It says Charls Russell, 1864-1926. I have no idea if this was one of the prototypes for the statue entry or just a plaque made for sale or a friend.
Charles Russell, a beloved Western Artist was born in St. Louis. He came to Montana in the 1880's and stayed. He was one of the first of the Western Artists to have actually lived the majority of his life in the west. He was very popular as his works were true to the western life. He very accurately showed the events that occurred in western history. He died in 1924 in Great Falls, Montana. He is just as popular an artist today as he was when he was alive.
This plaque is 6 ½" x 4 ½". It appears to be made of a plaster. It is plain and painted white. Mr. Russell stands about 1 ½" out from the main base. There is a lot of attention to detail including the ears, nose and eyebrows on this wall hanging.
I have not cleaned it up any. There is some dirt or discoloration where the glaze missed on the very top of the hat. It does need a cleaning.
This would be an awesome addition for the Charlie Russell lover!

Army Mess Plate and Cup
This is five-section mess plate made by Halsey in 1953. It was manufactured in Scranton, Pa.
The confetti style mess plate is 13 ¾" x 10 ¾" x 1 ½". It is heavy. The entrée section is 8 ½" x 5". The upper three sections are 3 ¾" x 4". The side section is 4" x 5".
It appears to none to little use. I see one minor scratch in the entrée section, and can only see that by holding it to the light and turning to the side. There are some minor scratches on the back on the mess tray.
The cup is a later edition. The stamp says it was made in 1965. I am not sure of the maker. It is marked with a MC surrounded by a large E. The cup is of the same confetti material. The cup is about 3 ½" tall. The mouth is about 3 3/8" wide. The base is about 2 ½" wide. The cup has a round finger hole with a flat top for easy control.
This would be a great addition to a military collection.

FAIRFIELD BLUE NAPPY
This a beautiful blue nappy made by Anchor Hocking. The pattern name is Fairfield. Anchor Hocking produced Fairfield from 1972-19976.
This two-handled nappy is about 6 ¾" wide-from handle to handle. It stands about 2" tall. It has the starburst pattern in the middle and the scalloped edges are large teardrop shapes with smaller elongated teardrops between each large one. The scalloping continues on the handles. They are oval shaped, and fit the finger well. The dish rests on a small-footed area.
This would be a beautiful accent for candy, cranberries, even dip on your festive table. It would also be beautiful used as a small rose bowl.

BLUE FAIRFIELD SHERBET/SMALL COMPOTE
This is a cute sherbet or small compote made by Anchor Hocking. It is in the Fairfield pattern. Anchor Hocking made this pattern from 1972-1976.
This footed glass stands 3 ¾" tall. It is 4 ½" across at the top, and the footed base is 3 ½" across.
It is in the typical pattern of large teardrops with smaller ones connecting the large. The edges are scalloped. It has a star like pattern in the bottom of the cup.
The color is a clear blue. It is very shiny.
I see no nicks or chips on it. There are two small pieces of what looks like extra glass in the foot.
This would make a great first for a new collector, or add to your Fairfield collection. This would look beautiful as a rose bowl.
