Vintage Lace Altar Wedding Ring Holder
This pretty hand made ribbon and lace ring carrier is used in to carry the bridal rings in the procession to the altar. It is probably of French origin. The base is covered with an organdy like fabric having dainty pleats and a double trim of one inch Valenciennes lace. The inside base is an egg-shell silk satin. Then there is a lovely richly folded silk ribbon bow on one side. The underside of the circle has a silk band to slip ones hand through. The color tones are beige and not white, perfect for a nostalgic wedding. There are age spots if you look closely on the ribbons but the general appearance is good. The diameter is 5 inches (13 cm). This piece would also make a fine addition to bridal and wedding collector’s treasures. Overseas surface postage $8.00

G6.1.4 Doll Head Art Deco Hat Stand
This unusual little 9 inch high hat stand is probably German. The doll’s head is papier-mâché, hand painted with a mohair wig. The green wooden stand is decorated with hand painted pink flowers. The beige cotton flapper style hat is decorated with a felt collar and flowers. I guess the best description would be shabby chic as the whole thing is quite aged but the textile parts could be taken off and washed. The dainty hand painted face has some scruffs too. In spite of its condition this original item has not lost its charm. Overseas surface postage $8.00

Collector’s Vintage Wax Bridal Tiara
This dramatic antique bridal collector’s head piece is from the turn of the century. It has aged to beige and brown tones but it has not lost it’s charm or historical value. There are 22 spears of wax buds and a wreath of yellowing cloth flowers with remaining bits of wax flowers. This tiara head band is in a suitable condition to be worn for a wedding if the theme is non-white vintage romantic. The height at middle of the front is 4 inches (11cm). The curved length is 12 ½ inches (31 cm) which will fit any head size.
This head piece is certainly a museum or collector’s piece. This lush tiara is one of the most elaborate and beautiful that I have ever found.

Evening in Paris Bakelite Owl Perfume
Most collectable is this perfume bottle container in the shape of a cute little owl with nice big orange eyes. The box is made of mottled blue Bakelite. The back of the owl opens revealing a small dark blue empty bottle resting on a violet cushion. The bottle has a silver label which reads Evening in Paris, Soir de Paris, Bourjois, made in England. On the lower back is printed the same words plus a registration number 8255003. The back of the owl is a little lighter that the front probably from exposure. The general condition is very good. The height of the owl is 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm). This hard to find Art Deco treasure dates from the 1930s. Overseas surface mail $8.00. Airmail $18.00
