Large B&G rimmed soup bowl in their Blue Traditional pattern, which is similar to the Blue Fluted pattern made by Royal Copenhagen. Instead of fluting, this pattern has an attractive fish-scale texture. As can be seen by the mark, this piece was made in 1952. Diameter: 9 5/8". Several available.

Bing and Grondahl: Dairymaid (#2017)
This vintage B&G figurine of a young milkmaid who is smiling at her attentive cat as she milks the family cow, was designed by Axel Locher, whose name is written on the ground behind the back legs of the cow. Condition is excellent, except there is a small hairline on the underside of the base that is barely visible from the top (see blue arrow). B&G mark on underside indicates it was made between 1958 and 1962. Height: ~7¼".

This vintage B&G figurine was designed by Axel Locher, whose name is written behind the seated woman. The variety of fish is amazing on this piece and makes it quite interesting. The B&G marks on the base indicate that this specific figurine was made between 1958 and 1962. Condition is excellent. Height: ~8 ¼"; depth: ~7 ¾".

An impressive large vintage B&G figurine of a fisherman and his family, which was designed by Axel Locher, whose name is written on the base. The B&G marks on its underside indicates it was made between 1958 and 1962 and the colors are very nicely muted, typical of these older hand-painted figurines. Condition is excellent, except for a very very minor line (small hairline) on the base that is barely visible (see arrow on first picture). Height: 12 ¼"; width: 7¼".

This B&G figurine of a cute puffin with a brightly colored bill, was designed by Svend Jespersen. It is well marked on its base,and in addition, has the impressed initials (SJ) of its designer. The mark on the underside of the piece indicates it was made between 1970-1983. Interestingly, there are two figurine numbers on the underside (2384 and 2386); the latter is incorrect and was crossed off. Condition is excellent. Height: 6¼".

Dahl Jensen: Boy with top (#1205)
Dahl Jensen figurine of a wonderful young boy engrossed in spinning a top on a bench on which he is sitting. Marked on base with a crown over "DJ" and "Copenhagen Denmark 1205". Dahl Jensen began figurine production in 1925 and stopped all production in 1981. Condition is excellent. Height: ~6½".
