Terrific early composition pachyderm with so many features! He is covered with tan velvet cloth...not flocking...and has a green felt blanket with a leather strap. He also sports a leather harness with brass studs, glass eyes and a braided hemp-like tail. His tusks are wooden..(one may have been replaced with a toothpick...or could be that is what they were originally). He is 5 1/2" long and stands not quite 4" tall. He has no mark or label, but his construction and style are typical of early (1920-30) German toys, quite possibly Schuco, or may have been part of a larger Circus animal set. A part of one of his studs must have come loose on the inside as it rattles when the toy is moved. Just mention this so buyer does not think something significant is broken. We generally ship to domestic customers by USPS Priority Mail, so buyer will add $ 3.50 plus insurance.

One of the most recognizable of the plastic ramp walker toys is HAP and HOP...two WWI soldiers joined together for eternity. This pair is in fine condition, no cracks or breaks, and minimal paint loss. The words HAP and HOP are on the sleeves of their coats. Nice vintage toy marked Hong Kong.
