Condition, condition, condition .... best describes this wonderful vintage coat made of a striking multi-colored, geometric patterned, tapestry cloth. Even the deep purple lining is without wear and has only a small faded spot near the neck. The coat boasts a Peter Pan collar, large antiqued finish silver metal buttons, patch pockets, and with the back made of a single piece of material ... no center seam! Coat front opening, cuffs, collar, and hemlines are all in perfect shape and show virtually no wear. The garment measures 41 1/2” from shoulder to hemline, 17 1/2" wide at shoulders, about 41 at bustline and 29 1/2" from underarm to hem and fits a 'medium' and is probably around a size 10 or 12. It is fairly heavy and could be worn into the early Winter in the north, much longer elsewhere. We’ll throw in the vintage, complimentary yellow, chiffon scarf to complete the outfit! The coat does not have a label but believe it was made by a small custom shop or professional seamstress, someplace here in the Northeast.
